Oh? Even more reason to ask! I'll be asking soon...probably sometime this week. I was gonna wait until after the album, though.

Yes!! I freak out if I zone out for just a minute of class 'cause I'm like, "NOOOOOO WHAT DID I MISS IN THAT ONE MINUTE?!" and then it bothers me for the rest of the lecture.

What areas are you not as keen in learning about? I'm not a big fan of chemistry/biology. When I studied it, it was rote memorization... which I ABSOLUTELY HATE. WHO LEARNS THAT WAY?! In general, I hate application/applied shit... it just seems.... very tedious/boring to me. I want to learn the theory, I want to know how one would apply it, but actually applying it and doing the work seems pointless. I don't want to learn how to do routine application, I want to know the hows and whys and what ifs and all that fun jazz! :3 (Kinda like how I don't like implementing ideas, but I sure do love coming up with them) :3 Are you the same way? I think we're the same way!

When you talk your studies with me, it always goes over my head

Well, when you and I and Charli meet up, we'll jump on the trampoline! (Is there enough room for all three of us? I hope so!) Believe me, I always have time for a trampoline :3 Can we go to the pet store afterwards and look at cats? Will I get to meet all your siblings?

When I was a more social person, I would be really silly and make jokes and poke fun, but the second I sat down in class, my friends would know that I would be paying attention hardcore and wouldn't bother me. (...paying attention hardcore? ) I really love learning and I think that's my greatest trait; I'm enthusiastic about learning new things, no matter the subject matter, and I am naturally curious and inquisitive. I have trouble in school and I'm not the smartest person so I think my desire to learn is my saving grace. :3

In short, we can... fool around () after class... but not during!

What is it exactly that i said that made you realize this again? And when was the first time i helped you realize this? Or is that wise-ass hyperbole?

Yes, the song (and entire album) could sound infinitely better from an arrangement, engineering, and production standpoint. But i don't take that to mean that it's necessarily a bad song and album though. That's just what's going on subjectively for me in this specific equation. Maybe it's because BTD is an anomaly in my record collection and i've allowed myself to embrace this and appreciate it as something out of the ordinary for me. I understand that, say, fake strings could completely ruin a song for someone. I totally get that, trust me. But, for me, as a whole, VG rises above its flaws--i see it as a great song that could've sounded even greater. And that's actually how i see the entirety of the BTD album. Its shortcomings don't ever quite pull it down all the way past the point of no return. It's this tawdry, crude yet overly polished, bloated kind of a record. I'm never quite sure just what to make of it, but i know i like it. It's real, but it's some singular, constructed hyperreality that, while being far removed from its surroundings, is still completely immersed in a larger whole. And that's in large part what Lana Del Rey is, and what i like about her. If i try to imagine the album turning out more to my tastes, it would end up sounding like a very different album. But then what fun is that? I lose what it actually is, what makes it special and unusual to me. And that spot that it would've occupied in my music collection would then seem very empty.

As long as you're not one of those people that like to have conversations during the lecture, I would love to take classes with you!! - _ -" We'll study the arts together! :3

They did, for the most part. Foraging and horticulture societies are fucking brilliant. The introduction of private property fucked everything up and screwed the Native Americans over.

My sister and I just went out for bubble tea -- "It's election day, we have to get bubble tea obviously!!!" was her reasoning.

The band SHINY TOY GUNS has even recruited that aspiring folk singer that I had reported about several months ago.. LIZZY GRANT… to attempt to bolster this claim of onlne stalking by the band SHINY TOY GUNS against me - visit her web page: http://www.myspace.com/mayjailer - and read the blog section - she has posted a message there stating that due to an online stalker she will not be posting blogs -THIS IS THE SINGER THAT WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DRUMMER MIKEY MARTIN, who the band had recruited to do some vocal work at TO THE BEAT recording studios back in February 2006 when they were recording there, and they had this girl do some studio vocal work for them - which was PURE SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF WOMEN - type material - which is what SHINY TOY GUNS DO WTH GIRLS/WOMEN — they are MUSIC PIMPS! - Mark Saunders their producer, and TO THE BEAT studios along with a DJ called TOMMY SUNSHINE were involved with this production work.
(NEWS UPDATE: October 20, 2006 - this girl LIZZY GRANT who is associated with the drummer of SHINY TOY GUNS (she was his on again, off again SEX PARTNER over the past 9 months) took down that message that she had previously posted in her blog section on myspace.com on October 20, 2006… but I will still leave the reference to this matter herein for the World to VIEW, and let’s wait to see what these men release with regards to this aspiring folk singer LIZZY GRANT who was sexually exploited by these men

Maybe this is another lie from Lana. And Sirens is actually the follow up to Born To Die but because it leaked it was scrapped

I have never finished any of her "official" videos. Truth be told, I have only considered watching a few of them. They're V boring.

I refuse to watch "Ride." Sorry, everyone I told I would. Here's looking at you, Maru and Sitar

If she was happier, maybe I'd like her more.

I haven't listened to a huge chunk of my Lana discography in months. In the past few months, I've neglected everything except the 3 songs we have from T.P.E. and Fake Diamond... and a few others, I think. I'm working on listening to it though!!! It's just taking time, but recently I've been listening to other "discarded" artists (very proud of myself for that, yay for small victories!! :3), so I have faith I can do this too.... eventually. I should probably upload all the songs into my iTunes sometime soon. I can't wait to listen to T.P.E. with everyone and have create good memories to associate with the songs! :3

I also haven't watched the Summertime Sadness music video in it's entirety, and what I have watched has been on mute.

I still hate it. I own only one Lana remix, don't have any CDs, and think her career is on a downward slope.
