why does she “need a hit” omg, that would just make Atlantic put MORE pressure on her to reproduce Boom Clap!! I get that most of you are obsessed with getting a release called an “album” but she’s content with the freedom she has & if she’s happy where she is right now she doesn’t need to sell out (lol) to get a “hit.”

I doubt her label would ever let her release it. Most major labels (rightfully) have her blacklisted. I doubt Interscope would have even let that Grimes collab see the light of day if it had ever been recorded, especially after what she put that label through.

She has some kinda deal with Kemosabe or Rx Songs i think? hmmm...maybe not. He also might charge / ask for less after the Kesha debacle lol. 
Also, why do you think she’s broke? Did she say that in an interview recently? I know streaming isn’t everything, but she seems to have a lot + she apparently is independent, so maybe she keeps more of her revenue than most.

i think a. g. & sophie & her must’ve really tried to get it to the point they wanted, but i guess she never felt like it was finished. especially if there are three different demos of it.

i think they just stopped working on it since they knew she couldn't release it lol it doesn't sound like something that could flow well with the other xcx3 tracks that leaked, so yeah, maybe they just moved on to something else.
