I loved this years MET Gala theme but can someone explain to me why it's not considered cultural appropriation if it's christian religion ?? If it had been something like "islam in fashion" or domething else i'm sure there would have been an uproar from SJWS etc and i honestly dont get how this is any different: celebrities dressing as religious figures and sexualising christian symbols ? Don't come for me because i don't really care and i'm not religious myself, i just can't see why this wouldn't be considered cultural aapropriation since many attendees are for sure not catholic
