I wished in May that the Swedish radio channel P3 would make a music documentary on Lana Del Rey and it seems like they published one earlier this week! I accidentally heard their documentaries on Taylor Swift and Kanye West last spring/early summer and they present the story and background fairly interestingly so I kept listening even though I don't care about them. Anyway.

This is an audio documentary where they tell the story of Lana, who she was and who she is today, and who her fans are. It's in Swedish. They have interviewed fans who know her story very well and... it's just a great summary of her. There's nothing new that we (hardcore) fans don't already know of, but in case you wanna have a listen too, I translated everything for you. I warn you, it's quite a long text. I just thought that it's pretty good summary of her career in case anyone wanna go back to check something, or I dunno.

If any fellow Swedes read this, I think they'll air the documentary again on Saturday, January 12th, at 17:00 / 5 PM. It aired last Tuesday morning, but that day has already passed so...

I personally thought it was really cool to know the video clips they mentioned in the documentary even before they played the audio and, since I wasn't a fan until like 2013, I kinda missed all the shitstorm of hate that Lana went through and how bad it was. They told all of that fairly well I think.

Omg i love all of these!    You did a great job and i really enjoy listening to your voice, it's super beautiful and soft! I'm especially impressed by your OTTR cover! I can absolutely not do this one, even though i've been trying for years... but you just sing your way through it like it's the easiest thing in the world!

Also, Venice Bitch from like a month ago or so. I used a piano instrumental I found on youtube but I had to copy and paste the same part over and over to cover the whole song... wasn't sure if I should share this cover because it's not the best and the music part becomes a bit dull after a while I guess, but wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-whatever.

I'm waiting until some good NFR-era photoshoots come around to make a redesign. Fingers crossed she does some proper photoshoots soon! x
 
(also, I'm planning on redesigning the entire website for this era to give it a more modern theme. LanaBoards has sort of had the same layout since it was created back in 2012. Let me know what you all think about this. I had planned on doing a whole modification months ago, but some people were opposed, yet other were in favour. Still curious to know before I proceed!)

Wow this is so beautiful! Your voice is absolutely lovely and seems very versatile, sounding rly good on low and high notes! I love how you are able to put so much emotion in every note, makes the song rly come to life and i believe every word you sing. Is it you playing the piano? Because the instrumental is very beautiful too
