Hmmn.. I was looking forward to watch it though..

I watched it last Sunday & didn't enjoy it as much as everyone hypes it tbh. I didn't like the characters (especially that older guy Oliver; he felt so self-centered) & I couldn't sense a chemistry or emotional connection from his side... But I have to say that Elio's character was nicely written. In the last scene when Elio was sitting by the fireplace - it did make me feel something.. a feeling of longing & loneliness but apart from that it's was just meh. Sorry expandableclitoris, perhaps romance is just not my genre. I am dying to watch the Lady Bird! It's been on my list for a while now.

What if 'Roses Bloom For You' is just an alternate title for 'Yosemite' & that's why she keeps teasing it when fans ask for the latter?

She doesn't wanna address the topic directly the way Timothy is doing but is dropping subtle hints which is kinda strange at this point.. but it's nice that she's using her music to express herself.

I like all the songs from Lust For Life excluding 'Summer Bummer', 'Love' & 'Change' (personal taste.. please don't come for me)

Y'all are too entitled to enjoy art for the sake of art. Personally, I don't feel the need to look up the personal/criminal history of an artist before I listen to their music. It's a tragic thing that *allegedly* happened 2 years ago but y'all are so over I can't even.

"Allegedly" raped 2 years ago. Melanie was not threatening or using any sort of violence on her. She could have easily gotten off the bed. Why would you stay friends with people who 'rape' you? She's starts her argument by saying that Melanie promising to help with her career but didn't even write a song with her. That says a lot about this person.

Of course, those cases are incomparable but that's not my point. I'm saying that what people are as artists is completely different from who they are in real life. If it was Lana in the place of Melanie, would you guys delete her albums & burn her CDs & stop listening to her music? I won't. (Just a hypothetical example. No offence.)
