Okay, we can have it as a filler on the album, no prob. We have 16 fuking tracks. But do you think it's a very sensible choice to release the kind of music everybody is doing these days (that too allegedly with a rapp collab.) as the next single for an album she spent so little time promoting? Can't we have an another one which represents what Lana is famous for - depth? 
Isn't this where our little argument begin in the first place?

Okay, yeah, that's probably true. She way she mixed orchestral pop with Hip Hop is actually pretty unique.

Not excited about this new single (if it's legit), I don't like the name and I don't like A$AP, and I don't like collaborations. Don't come after me, just saying my opinion 

Who's "worshipping" old albums? I'm saying I think the quality of lyrics and songwriting has decreased. Others seem to agree. She obviously had/has fillers with each album shes made but nowadays her songs seem repetitive and have no heart to them, I feel.
 
I'm also including the directions she takes her releases in, her events, her tours. She doesn't seem to care as much or put effort in and it shows. 
 
To get all 'You don't know what you're talking about' when someone states an opinion you don't like?

It's so sad though, I was certain that if there was another pre-album single, it would be Cherry since she is comfortable enough to sing it live. Would have loved seeing a video for that one, specially now that her video game is truly on-point this era.

That's what I mean. If I want "bops to shake my ass to" there are PLENTY of artists. Don't need Lana to deliver that sort of thi gs. I stan her for hr unique style

You can make decent music and make money from it. If she showed she had an actual plan or vision with her work, I'd agree but she doesn't. If she was all about making money, then what was Tropico about? Did she or anyone else make any (or much) money from that?

I think L4L soubds pretty much like something everyone could have done. So does the SB snippet.And yeah, maybe her muse is fading. But I'd rather have her being repetitive with doing "the usual LDR stuff" a la Cherry, cause that's what she's great at, instead of delivering things her fans might like, but which are just ... generic.

tbh the general public will look at a title like 'Summer Bummer' and think she is not a serious artist who gives a crap about her work. thats what I would think
 
its sad from a musician who has written songs like Yayo, Elvis (personal fave) and her unreleased albums, that she seems to want to sabotage herself. almost as if she's throwing music out towards a void and not caring about an impact or an impression.

This fanbase and it's obsession with the unreleased material is annoying. Yeah, she had those tracks but looking at her OFFICIAL LDR discography (BtD, Paradise, UV, HM), she never used that stuff for her public artist-persona. Apart from that Summer Bummer and LFL are not really having this trashy charme all of the songs you mentioned have - they are just mainstream-ish.
Lanas appeal was always pretty unique, so it's understandable some people are disappointed when she does this stuff basically everyone is doing. If you are into "bops" there are more than enough artists that provide this sound. So yeah, I think it's artistic decay if she becomes generic. Not because I have a "better music taste' but because I think she can do better. Not everyone has to do the same stuff.

Well we follow a glamorous singer not a dirty rapper lol. It's completely understandable if some people are not here for that, it will just sound like noise to them

I never said I'm not excited for LFL. Stop assuming stuff, miss. I am excited for Cherry, Mustang & all those other unheard tracks & I do want her to develope. I just expressed my opinion that I don't like the song cover (there are so many better photoshoots of her) and I don't want Summer Bummer to be a single (because it isn't representative of her as an artist) when there are much better tracks on the album.

Summer Bummer is probably going to be a huge mess. She chose to be messy this era and abandon the wonderful, glamorous aura that actually made her as an artist before. But whatever, at least this time it's going to be a hillarious mess and not a bad one, like with Lust For Life.

I agree that if you look up the word 'tacky' in a dictionary it has Charli's picture next to it (I used to love her a lot but she's gone so bad omg, Number 1 Angel was ok tho) but honestly y'all should have a little more faith in Lana... I'm not coming directly at you but c'mon we've already been through these kind of title meltdowns before and she's mostly proved us wrong, I'm not denying that everyone has their own taste though. Some of you just seem like you're ready to lynch her for not delivering and already hating the album without hearing it first is kind of absurd if you ask me. Sure the long titles for example look kinda ugly etc but give the girl a chance lol and let them grow on you
The Summer Bummer cover is alright, sure the filter is like one of those basic VSCO ones and obviously not Neil's best work and the font is hideous (can't believe some of you wanted the album cover to have that trailer witch retro space theme) but it's still quite decent. And you can't really judge the song based on a MQ snippet...
Personally I'm excited to hear it and I'm looking forward to Wednesday (my time)
