I actually liked the songs and had no problem. Around that time i was kind of venturing into more alternative rock music so that came out at a perfect time. The only thing i remember being disappointed about: the music video for ultraviolence. It was cute, but i really wanted something more grand. Although BTD is special, I think UV is more classic and I relate to it more as I age.

I just wanted to say Lana looked really hot and stunning in the tub with her cats.

Carmen holds a special place in my heart and I'm glad that I know other people love this song. I remember being 14 and I was having a hard time and really goin thru shit and I couldn't bring myself to sleep bc I'd have awful nightmare's but one day I clicked on Lana Del Rey's Carmen, and that song made me fall in love with her lol I'm so sappy

My wife definitely deserves this, I have been saying this for years, along with others: she has definitely influenced the culture as well as the music scene. I wanna cry lmao

Oh yes I'm def looking for more female artists to be inspired by but to be honest I haven't come across many, though I found a lot of artists that are very creative and dedicated.

I have lost so much interest in Lana til it's scary. At first I chalked it up to me growing up, but it's not the case. Like Lana was a huge inspiration for me in so many ways. I've been writing since I was a kid, but her phrasing and a way of words has influenced my work immensely. Like her influence is on me is up there with Edgar Allen Poe, Sylvia Plath, and Maya Angelou, so yeah- she impacted me a lot and she even fully inspired me to start singing (her low, deep voice reassured me that it was normal lol) But now I rarely listen to her, especially her newer music. Like now when I listen to music she's the last thing I put on my playlist. I couldn't figure out why but now I know why: she's lazy and almost uninspired in a way and I think she's out of touch with her fans in a way? Like remember LFL was supposed to be for the fans( LOL BITCH THE FUCK WHERE?) I hate it bc I no longer find her to be a muse as much as she used to be, and lately she's been giving off these vibes that puts me off of her. This reminds me of something a friend of mine said when Lana dropped LFL and how it was kinda lackluster. He said that Lana typically has this stand out track that surprises you. I can't quite remember what tracks he listed from each album but I def got what he meant. Her first few albums there is always that song that seems really unique rather you like it or not. You don't really here that from her albums these days.

I love Lana so deeply but DAMN is this girl losing her touch. I pray to GOD she has some sort of inner revival and just pushes out the BEST artwork that even surpasses her best from previous eras but we know that's not happening. Lana needs to get it together or something.

I always daydream about Lana sitting down in a one on one interview with some of her meanest critics and it's really just Lana roasting them to death and bringing them to life just wreck them again. <3 Someone send her this idea, make it happen.

For me, Born To Die and Paradise will always have my heart. It's not even about visuals or anything like that, but rather a sort of awakening I felt when I first came across them. I can't really fathom it or get anyone to understand but I don't know, I just felt this strong connection to Lana and her music.

This era already beats Lust For Life. I'm falling back in love with her again It's okay, I see a lot of Lizzy vibes too hehe
