  1. Just listened to Superstar and I love it. The prechorus is beautiful and I love that the first few choruses don't have a beat but I just wish they took some of those trap drums out of the verses
  2. You are what is wrong with this fan base. Log off Lanaboards, go outside and relax
  3. Unpopular opinion on this NFR era but I actually don't mind the wait and I think everyone should just kind of............relax. We have three studio version songs to hold us over until the record is released along with three additional live songs to listen to that are unreleased. Lana is teasing music/poetry because she is excited and proud of her work. It really hasn't been thaaaat long since LFL was released (compared to how most artists release music) so I think we should just kind of chill out. She's given us A LOT. Also -- I have a feeling y'all wouldn't be happy if she didn't tease anything at all and instead was completely silent on social media about new music. Y'all are never happy. Go take a drive and listen to VB on repeat x Love u all anyway and your frustrations are valid, just a bit..... much Side note: We are in the era of streaming. Big record releases and label orchestrated "eras" are not necessarily the status quo anymore and I have a feeling they are going to die off as time progresses. It kind of seems obvious and makes sense that this is the way we are getting new music for now (as "fan singles")
  4. Honestly don't care when NFR comes out as long as it's in 2019 and we get Cinnamon and In Your Car
  5. I think it's "nights off." It makes sense in the context she sings it in
  6. LOVING THESE SONGS. HER MIND.
  7. I really hope we get an interview tomorrow too!!!
  8. I remember it leaking earlier than that though. We didn't even believe the tracklist was real at first because we though Summer Bummer sounded fake and it didn't have Yosemite
  9. Only thing I would really like from a redesign is making it easier to post pictures/gifs/embed Twitter and Instagram posts!!! Pls!!<3
  10. Sis you know we won't ever get a proper Venice Bitch performance, right? It's always going to be on the piano like how she performed it with Jack at the Apple show...
  11. HIAB doesn't sound that interesting to me. Besides the whole "if he's a serial killer then what's the worst that could happen to a girl who's already hurt" verse, the rest of the lyrics sound basic and the production sounds very show tune-y. I really don't see what everyone else sees in that track. Still excited to hear it though! Who knows, it could be great I'm ready for the hate I'm going to get for this unpopular opinion
  12. FATM isn't the kind of band to tease music without the intention of releasing it so I'm guessing we'll be getting this soon! I don't think we will get a deluxe HAH because they would have waited to make those special vinyls if they had deluxe songs they wanted to release so I wonder what it's for? It sounds more commercially appealing than most of HAH (besides Hunger) so maybe it's for a separate project? Maybe a movie (though it doesn't sound like it would be??) Also it's interesting that the lyrics are reminiscent of those in HBHBHB but the production is more Ceremonials
  13. 1. Brooklyn Baby 2. Heroin 3. Cruel World 4. Fine China 5. Cherry 6. Florida Kilos 7. Ultraviolence 8. Hope Is A Dangerous Thing 9. Shades of Cool 10. Sad Girl/Art Deco tied 11. The Blackest Day 12. Venice Bitch 13. Bel Air 14. Black Beauty 15. Salvatore
  14. Hope > Venice Bitch > HTD (Live) > MAC What's the tea ladies? What are your rankings of the songs we've heard in full?
  15. "She’s no stranger to themes of addiction and hopelessness, but she’s never sung them with such clarity. Lana Del Rey, at her best, has always written with wisdom beyond her years, but she’s never done it this well." From Vulture https://www.vulture.com/2019/01/lana-del-rey-is-writing-more-candidly-than-ever.html Love this point the writer made
  16. "Serving up god in a burnt coffee pot" Anyone else love this lyric?! It seems so trivial but it's one of my favorite lines in the song
  17. Who cares that the single cover is a selfie. Who cares that the title is too long. Who cares that there is little to no promo for the song. The music is good. The music is almost always good. That's all that matters. Yeah, we all have a right to criticize it and complain but y'all do this with everything she does. Aren't you guys tired of being so negative? Lana isn't some up and coming pop starlet or radio hit maker that needs constant TV appearances and high budget/quality album shoots for promo. She posts an Instagram video of her singing along to an upcoming song and all the major music/news outlets write about it. She's a big name and doesn't have to try so hard just to.... appease fans? We're getting an album with good songs and that's all that matters. She's an artist who generally puts out music on her own terms so let her be that, she's not our little personal pop puppet. The song is great, let's all enjoy it without taking our criticism too far but Lana surely doesn't care and it's mostly trivial Goodnight x
  18. I think the song is beautiful and haunting. I think it kind of makes sense that the song isn’t called Sylvia or Sylvia Plath. It would be like her calling Gods & Monsters “Jim Morrison” instead. The song is loosely connected to Sylvia Plath just as Gods & Monsters is loosely connected to Jim Morrison.
  19. This song sounds magical. I hope it stays a ballad and doesn't have much percussion or drum work... I love how ethereal it sounds. It's like this era's Bel Air, Old Money and Change!
  20. Did she really just delete the snippet from her IG already
