Just realized this: If the single is released on Record Store Day, it'll be exactly two years since The Odyssey's initial intended release date (before they moved it back a week because of Prince's death). <3

The poem is beautiful. If that's any indication of how FATM4's lyrics will be, this is gonna be a great record.... It feels very HBHBHB but a little more rough, in a good way. HBHBHB did a really good job at taking the surrealism and fantasy of Lungs and Ceremonials and juxtaposing it with the real world, and I have a feeling this will be the same. Also, to reiterate, while this single is confirmed, it's not confirmed that it's for FATM4. Obviously, it is for the new record but it's not officially announced yet. Also, that's not the cover. I think the b-side to this vinyl will be her reading this poem perhaps? She's been doing a LOT of poem reading as of late.

Initial thoughts: Softcore was a standout for me Blue sounds like their old stuff, in a good way You Get Me So High is one of my favorite songs from them, but it doesn't fit well with the album Revenge sounds like a song they've done before? $TING maybe? Stuck With Me and Void are still so so so good wow Too Serious is nice, I think I'll really like it after a few listens Sadderdaze is still so beautiful
