  1. Has Lana actually ever said what she considers her favorite songs she's done? I know she thinks highly of many, but has she ever anywhere stated some as her "best work" or anything like that?
  2. I'm here for all this info and the unreleased material, so thanks, love.
  3. On that note, I'm bored on a Friday, so top 10 Britney. 01. "Everytime" 02. "Toxic" 03. "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know" 04. "Till the World Ends" 05. "...Baby One More Time" 06. 4. Been listening to "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know" on repeat, and its seriously her most underrated song, omg.
  5. Nothing gold can stay, like lava lemonade.
  6. I can't emphasize enough how I hope this is the album cover.
  7. Wait, is it actually "bolt"? Someone corrected me on it actually being "board". Surfboards makes sense in context, but I swear I'm not hearing it.
  8. Writing on my walls in blood and shit, Woah, my god, jumping off from the walls into the docks and shit.
  9. She's not much of an actress. But regardless, she's coming for an eventual Academy Award in the song category, so it's whatever.
  10. https://rateyourmusic.com/release/single/lana-del-rey/venice-bitch/ Edit: Here's the link to the chart for 2018, so you can see just how acclaimed this one's being over there. https://rateyourmusic.com/customchart?page=1&chart_type=top&type=single&year=2018&genre_include=1&include_child_genres=1&genres=&include_child_genres_chk=1&include=both&origin_countries=&limit=none&countries= And based on the singles of "all time" on their filters, VB will fall in the 40-60 range in their top 100.
  11. VB is #1 single of the year on Rate Your Music, with a 4.21 (at the moment of this post), putting it on their charts for the top 100 singles of all-time.

  13. @xcxcharli I want to say something, but you've got a mushroom head, your name is the name of someone else, and I don't know what to say and I'm panicking. But above all: happy Monday and I hope things are cool wherever you're from and whatever you're doing! And this is my last one in the thread, because I'm done being a thristy bitch and I need to say this to said other person: Comparing a true Rick and Morty fan to their own fanbase is like saying we're all going to stalk and kidnap Lana.
  14. Fantastic. I always like stopping at your posts and reading them over sometimes, just because of your tastes and ideas on them. Your favorite songs by Lana are my favorite songs by her scary often. <3
  15. You've shown support for my work, which is always a bit help and confidence booster, so I'm sure you're down-to-earth irl, but also know how to be empathetic and trusting. I can tell just by the way you treat people here.
  16. hit up The album is #599 on Rate Your Music's best of 2018. Not amazing, but still really cool for something I just dumped on the interweb. Haha https://rateyourmusic.com/charts/top/album/2018/15
  17. I attended during the Endless Summer tour, and while I enjoyed seeing her in reality, I also found myself turned off by the atmosphere of the concert itself, tbh. Mainly because no matter where you go on the lawn (or in the seats), you can't hear her anyway. The only time the crowd shut up was for "Chelsea Hotel No. 2", but it was because you can tell it's one of the tracks they aren't stumbling upon on Spotify.
  18. I don't just place her as one of the very best artists of her time, but because she's had her hands all over her work with the same directing partners, I often include Lana in my list of favorite movie directors. As a film studies major, my professors look at me like I'm a fucking moron.
  19. She actually got nominated for the Razzie, which is a disgrace, because no matter what you think of the film itself, that was a tour-de-force for her. And I agree, she should be a lock for a nomination this year. Stunning that she gets so many nominations, and misses for her best work yet.
  20. She's not eligible for anything this year. But you're right. They should apologize and give her a late-win for "Young and Beautiful", I agree.
