  1. These predictions are solid af, though. I also sense a Franco shutout with the recent media attention he got. He had it right during the voting week, so many probably left him off their ballots. I'm rooting for Dafoe, but Rockwell won the Golden Globe and SAG, not to mention was nominated by BAFTA and won about 10+ critics awards over him. I'd like to think Dafoe can surprise, but with Three Billboards being so likely for the Picture and Actress wins, something tells me he's going to happen, unfortunately.
  2. As some of y'all know, film is the love of my life, so I live for this. The nominations will be announced tomorrow morning, so I wanted to lock in my predictions for them. Such an exciting, unpredictable year for a change, which is nice. BEST PICTURE *there could be anywhere from 5-10 nominees here, so I'm ranking them based on likelihood* 01. Three Billboards 02. 3. 6.5 isn't dust. It's still well above average; compared to what most artists can deliver. If anything, "Guns and Roses" is the bust here. Because it is so close to average. (I rate a bit different than most I think.)

  5. I know its kinda cliche, but "The Chain" is - and forever will be - the greatest track they did. Especially after I checked it out in noise-cancel headgear. The production is insane.
  6. This was my old account, so I just wanna say no problem. I live for this stuff.
  7. What is the weirdest thing Lana has done at a concert you've attended? Because mine had a few, so I need to know if I'm not special.
  8. Went with "In the Corner", because its repressed vibes fit my lo-fi aesthetic I have available. lol "Ra" will be next, but I'm reaching out to some filmmakers for it.

  11. Abercrombie Dreams - my fear of the atom bomb; anxieties of a Trump America; nostalgic for the teen years in rural Ohio, where things felt freer. Ra - based on the thoughts I had while going to my first gay club at age 20. Interludes, In the Corner, Agnes of America, Lighter Fluid - about the relationship I had with a high school star athlete (while we were both in the closet). Tumbling - A metaphor of my heart being broken from the events above, but doubling for the Trump era anxieties of the atom bomb and climate change. Claymation - After that experience, I felt it was the end of the world. But today, we're faced with this shadow over America... literally. I'm accepting there’s only going forward, and while it seems bleak, I’ll stay vigilant… and super gay, of course.
  12. "Lolita" is the only song I really dislike, but it also just may be one of the worst pop songs I heard that year.
  13. I'm late to the train, but "My My My" has me onboard finally. What a wonderful video, too.
  14. There's "Heart-Shaped Box"...... and everything else. <3333
  15. Rainier. Sorry to those who will say Yosemite just because Lana sang it. All-time favorite Vine?
  16. Banjo-Tooie (N64) Favorite Cartoon Network show from childhood?
  17. Thank you! It's been driving me crazy, even though I'm a huge fan of inaudible lyrics.
  18. Has anybody figured out wtf she says in the "Cherry" bridge yet?

    Lorde

"Perfect Places" is like the perfect millennial hedonist anthem to hit radio, tbh
