I never was a fan of the album title and thought it was a little tasteless. I wonder if it will be changed because of this.

What is bugging me about the whole Rockwell estate being against the title is that Lana stated she had the title in mind last March and announced it in September: and yet nobody in her management or at Interscope said anything before that???! Plus they issued, with universal, the press release in January for Hope, with the album title, while they still were in talkings with the Rockwell estate?!? Isn’t it someone’s job at Interscope to make sure The title would be ok with everyone?!?

Her lastest caption broke my heart... I relate so much to what she wrote
I hope she gets enough love and support, one knows what it's like to have nobody in rough times.

i know its bad to harass her label but... this could be the reason yall we cant just sit on lanaboards and complain because whos checking? we gotta start commenting on interscopes stuff etc! enough demand could possibly get us somewhere. i dont think the attacks in lanas own comments phase interscope until they themselves get bombarded. its hard to believe lana is holding back this release herself. she knows its been slow and she def does not like her comments filled with "WHERE IS THE ALBUM BITCH"

this is actually a FANTASTIC example, because what happened with fiona's record turned out to be that it was never actually shelved, but that she didn't like the terms her label gave her for working on it, and quit rather than comply with them (i'll put a better explanation in a spoiler in case anyone cares, but that's the gist of it). so basically production and promotion on the record just stopped entirely, and fans assumed it had been shelved, so they set up the free fiona protests. after that kind of display of support, fiona ended up getting the funding and the go-ahead to finish and release her album how she wanted. so i feel like this is actually a really good parallel to the lana situation, since we don't know what exactly is going on; putting pressure on the label would be a great way to get some information at the very least!

Oh we definitely should, and I definitely will. What are we but a sum of our thoughts, beliefs and decisions? And religion might be something private to you, just like it is to me, but it doesn't seem to be that way to a culty megachurch like Hillsong and the sheep that attend it. I cannot find it in me to respect pedophilia, misogyny, militant homophobia, mind control, and those who support (or accept) these things.

That’s not what happened, it was actually LDR fans being a twat to him for no reason. He went to amoeba to pick up a record for his daughter (that wasn’t LDR) but it was the day of her amoeba concert. Lana fans saw him being served and got at the staff saying “HEY I THOUGHT THE STORE WAS GONNA BE CLOSED??” because they’re entitled or something. Then they told him to pick up an LDR record.
 
So he told the fan I got her AC/DC and left. It wasn’t exactly anything to do with drama or spite, he just went to get his daughter a record and was let in by amoeba staff while her performance was on and fans didn’t realise who he was and got at him. He didn’t say or do a thing against lana, so theirs no beef.

She's in LA, not some one horse town in bumfuck Mississippi. She could easily find a liberal, progressive, LGBTQ-friendy Christian church to attend. She has NO excuse besides being a dumbass.
 
Like half of those...girlies...have been seen w her at church, so I'm guessing they met there. Though she might have met Jen while she worked for the Kardashians.

There's an old story that the first king of Norway swore to not cut his hair until he was king, we should all vow to let our hair grow until we have NFR.

I saw the thing you are referencing with Dave Grohl "trashing" Lana.  It was something to do with one of his kids wanted a Lana record, and he talked them into getting AC/DC instead.  He didn't say anything explicitly bad about Lana, but he basically lumped her in with "garbage pop" and not "real music" like AC/DC or whatever the other band was.

I’m 100% sure he never explicitly trashed lana - in fact I think they have an unreleased collaboration?
