ya'll were dragging it so i expected it to be boring, but it's amazing? whats up with this threads flop taste

now that i think about it, i don't think there's really any song on ultraviolence that i dislike. even guns and roses is tolerable based on what mood im in. I actually sat here and tired to come up with a top 5 list, but couldn't because every song leaves me snatched. facts though. i will say though that the sad girl slander ive seen on this site is disgusting and flipside deserves praise 24/7!

i think this is her more or less not knowing what to say because she doesn't want to talk about the meaning or go into detail. but there's also the point that you can pull many messages out of most of her songs, regardless of what she was thinking when writing it. i sometimes think she purposely puts on that aloofness act in interviews to downplay the amount of personal experiences, memories, desires, etc she incorporates into her lyrics.
