I don't think she's uncovering a conspiracy (what is the conspiracy even) as much as commenting on the things she saw. She's talked about "sleeping with the boss" in an interview before. The casting couch, unfortunately, is not a new phenomenon. I think she's interested in "new politicians" (influencers) like criminals and celebrities. National Anthem bridge is another one that talks about the "new age" and celebrity (sixth page). For the most part she doesn't seem to pass judgment on it; she either observes it or even participates in it in song (Hit and Run, FMWUTTT, PMIAM). It's kind of dark, but she's been referencing these themes for a long time (also, violence has been one too... that makes me really sad).

I have a feeling that her "up n down" isn't a mood disorder but is probably a combination of being jaded with the music industry and partying (drinking and doing other drugs) so much. She even talked about how she did so much partying as "research" for her album and towards the end the songs started getting darker and darker. I go to a college in the middle of nowhere where our main-street has more bars than any other businesses, all there is to do is drink, and I know, personally after days on days of going out and drinking, (alcohol being a depressant) eventually it catches up to you and you can feel pretty low. I've also done my fair share party drugs in that environment and they feel great but the comedown makes you feel even lower. I think this combined with the fact that like all of us who have good days at our jobs (in her case: finishing a song, playing a show for fans, etc.) and bad days (label nonsense, repetitive/uninterested interviews, etc.) might make it seem like she has a mood disorder, but I think she's just having good and bad days and isn't great at hiding it (not a bad thing and she's said in the past she's not good with media training).

I never imagined when I first heard "You (Ha Ha Ha)" four years ago that I would be hanging out on Lanaboards waiting for Charli's album to leak and painstakingly arranging my library to make sense, lol. Anyway, after remembering that "I Wanna Be With U" and "Party 4 U" were contenders for XCX3, I decided to put together a theoretical tracklist for XCX3.
I'm imagining that, like Melodrama and hopeless fountain kingdom ( ) this is a concept album based around the idea of a party. Speaking of which, isn't it crazy there would have been three albums released this year centering around parties? And all three artists have spoken about the importance of parties in their lives? And Charli knows both of them? Hmmmmm.
Anyway the first half is kind of the fun boppy songs (except Down Like Whoa), with the middle of the album being Charli waiting for this guy to show up because "she only threw this party for him," and then we get into the sad (Die For, Can You Hear Me) or sonically dark songs (Waterfall, I Wanna Be With U). After a triumphant final attempt to get through to this gentleman (Can You Hear Me) she decides to just have an after-afterparty where instead of falling in love with a guy, she falls in love with the world. Because what's more beautiful than that sense of world peace and love for one's man caused by being totally drunk? We're all in love!!!
Come to my Party - Charli is both starting the party and inviting the listener to hang with her. This song is a bop and a half, should have been a lead single, so makes sense to frontload it like this. Good Girls Bounce Down Like Whoa - This is a dark song so it should have been in the second half but (a) I didn't want to depress everyone by having a second half full of downers and (b) it flows super well into No Angel, lol No Angel Girls Night Out - he's still not here, so she's having fun with her girls instead Party 4 U - Homegirl is sad and upset; from here we enter the 'dark' portion of the album Die For - she considers that her cheating on him and ignoring him have actually only served to worsen their relationship and desperately begs for him not to leave her Waterfall I Wanna Be With U Queen Lizzy Can You Hear Me - a final 'happy-sounding' song before the encore, to lift the mood a little After the Afterparty (SOPHIE or single version, depending on how much you can stomach Discord Quality) - We don't know if he heard her, but she's ready to move on and embrace the people who have been with her - her girls, her fellow party-goers, the world. "We're all in love." We end on the euphoria of a party. Also it's nice because the album starts with a robotic voice saying 'X-C-X'/namedropping herself and now we have Charli herself saying 'X-X-X-C-X Charli'
I know we're all over XCX3 because it's been like 3 months since it leaked but I still think about it all the time and what the finished version might be called so if anyone else wants to discuss tracklists, fan-made album covers, titles (where did 'XCX Girl in an XCX World' come from?) please @ me.

Also I think I put together some info about XCX3 that gives a little insight into the tracklist at one point but someone's already done this before me.
In an interview early this year, the interviewer said something about "roughly 70% of the tracks mentioned partying or champagne". If it's "roughly" 70% then it can't be a ten track album. 8/11 is closer to 75% than 70%. 9/12 and 8/12 are 75% and 66.66666% respectively. But 9/13 is 69.2% which I would say is roughly 70%. And only four of the leaked tracks that were said to be intended for XCX3 didn't mention partying or champagne (Die 4, I Wanna Be With You, Can You Hear Me, and Queen Lizzy I think). So yeah I'm just gonna assume that there were 13 tracks at one point when XCX3 hadn't been scrapped. That's how I'm gonna format my "XCX3 Leaks Playlist" now before I burn it onto a CD

I know this is not your favorite topic, but you’ve talked before about how leaks of unreleased songs this summer threw a wrench in your plans for your third album. Have you considered putting those songs out as a separate mixtape or EP so fans have a legal way of supporting those songs, even if you’re letting them go?
I mean, I don’t really want to talk about this, honestly, but here’s the thing — those songs are still really important to me, and I’m not done with them yet. That’s why it’s so frustrating. They’re still a really important part of who I am, and I hope to release them. But I’m just so honestly pissed off about it that I’m figuring out how to deal with that myself. That’s all I say on that.
we really don't deserve her.

"I've always done most of it myself and that's partly why everything has taken so long," she continues. "I didn't have the support of my record label in the UK because they just didn't get it... ever. And they still don't sometimes. When they heard Sucker, someone at my label said, 'Your album's great, but wouldn't it be better if Wiz Khalifa was on a verse?' I was just like... NO."
*wiz khalifa is in the boys music video*
"In the past 10 years, why do people feel like musicians have to be boring to succeed, and why do people have to be likable? It's just lame!" she says. Her voice climbs to a new octave and she sits forward in her seat. "It's so boring. You can't like everything! You hate some stuff! Say what you hate! Like, I hate Pitbull, and I don't care! He's shit! And that's fine! He may hate my stuff, and I'm cool with that!" Perhaps unsurprisingly, Charli's label sent her to media training; afterward, her instructor told execs that, in all of her years, she had never encountered a worse pupil. "I was like, 'What the fuck did I do wrong?' " says Charli.
Interviewer: What makes a perfect party?
Charli XCX: Fun people who love to dance and the best DJ playing amazing songs, e.g. Macarena/LMFAO/Pitbull, etc

Wasn't there speculation about this in the Lanalysis thread since 2012? Obviously we didn't know these allegations yet but I know someone was claiming the Harvey was a real person.
I really hope the media isn't gonna try to paint her as the villain for this song. But I also hope they don't speculate on whether she was a victim. We know she's sensitive about what they say about her. We don't know what happened (if anything happened) and probably never will, and maybe it's for the best. I hope she doesn't feel forced to comment on this.
This is honestly one of the worst potential Lanalysis discoveries because the implications are potentially horrendous. Ugh.
Also, it very clearly says "Harvey." There's a 'v' sound that cannot be explained at all by "ah he's". Her lyrics books are notoriously bad, and since when is Genius a credible source on lyrics? I've seen plenty of incorrect lyrics on there because afaik they're fan submitted.
