i was literally just writing a gigantic post about how much she frustrates me as an artist when everything she complains about is 100% her own fault but then i decided  to stop because i was putting more effort into the post than she does her own career. i think i'm gonna stop caring until she actually does anything, which she never will. NTMT will be her one and only album.

The fact that the Masochism campaign is now on Lynchian levels of delayed satisfaction--helped by David Lynch himself I guess she really couldn't have told us that she was peaceing out permanently (in the show). I hate and love but mostly hate them both for it, ugh this abuse cycle

I want the album cover in HQ and the official track list and the confirmation of the album title more than any song at the moment, to be honest.

I tried to make the song listing as thematically and sonically cohesive as possible - the first 6 songs are the most abrasive in tone, and they also link together really well... Trophy, TKO and Secret transition so well into each other that it almost feels as if they were made to compliment each other.
 
For the next songs there is a shift in tone - it's a lot lighter and lovey dovey.
 
I also thought that Queen Lizzy would be perfect as a concluding song. It finishes on sort of a melancholy note which I think is sort of nice.
 
I was going to upload my tracklisting then realised that Charli's lawyers might come after my ass for sharing leaked material.

I am salty that certain artists seem to get inflated scores based mostly on their reputation while Lana has the opposite problem. Some artists can deliver a decent album and end up with rave reviews, while Lana keeps moving forward while keeping her unique voice and gets ripped for BTD again. I feel her music is rarely actually on review. Are the songs good or not, I couldn't care less if they're ~authentic~ or not.

Out of all the songs that surfaced in the past few days, I still can't get over "Down Like Whoa."
 
It's a very welcome blend of N1A and Vroom Vroom's sounds. It's an emotional (yet icy) late-night bop. 

Sorry but this "the lights are hot" and "most concerts are not longer than an hour" stuff you keep going on with is such bulllshit. Most concerts are longer than Lanas sets and none of those artists every died of dehydration. and the anxiety stuff is old by this point - she's performing for SUCH A LONG TIME, if she still has anxiety than it's because she's not working on it at all.
Stop trying to defend her lazy ass, it won't make you a bad fan if you just accept that her live performances are lackluster. Lately it's not just the setlist and the length but also the quality of her vocals that was ... well not that great. She did a great job with MTWBT but for most of the time she just relies on extremely loud pre-recorded backing vox. You are right - she's not U2 or Coldplay. So, since she's not really doing anything BUT sing it can't be harder for her than it is for them.
 
 
On the other hand ... none of the fans there actually listen, they just scream their brains out and act like complete idiots (which they are seemingly pretty proud of aswell "OMG I CRIED ALL THE TIME I'M SUCH AN EMOTIONAL AND DEDICATED FAAAAAAAAAAN!!!11!") so why should she even bother ... all they wanna do is have a night at the Lana-karaoke bar.

I know this will NEVER happen, but imagine a deluxe version of XCX3 with the Vroom Vroom EP and Number 1 Angel as bonus tracks... I'd be so utterly snatched. One (or two CDs) of the only pop music that has actually slewn me this year.

Edit: just remembered we could add the exchange tracks and Believe... we are so lucky to have all this music in one way or another. I'll just remove Boys and maybe ATAP.

Also, think about this: in her first single Stay Away (i feel like this is considered her debut), Charli says "I KNEW YOU WERE NO ANGEL". No Angel is definitely her magnum opus, confirmed.
