  1. So apparently via other thread, this is all a farce?
  2. No one prick her finger, I doubt most of this fanbase would wait a fraction of a thousand years. Glad she's having a nice time at Disneyland. That last sentence tho
  3. Since no one has replied til now, I just wanted to say that I loved the visuals she served during her debut era, but my favorite was that of Paradise. Ride and Tropico was just like dipping my feet into another world.
  4. Happy birthday Lana, hope a wish of urs comes true today.
  5. Honestly tho I'd still like to hear the song in full, but at this point I'm just kinda grateful for the snippets we've had. Like it's bittersweet, but hey it's something.
  6. Make me your Dream Life

    Lorde

One of the smoothest albums I've listened to in full, and in order too. It's like it'd be a shame to put it on shuffle atm. Will rank the songs when I feel I've understood them better.
  7. I think that'd be lovely. The track outtake would just be another wonderful reminder imo
  8. Don't be that way Don't you pretend. You're not away Ur soul's on fire I don't believe, this is the end . . . Listening to the track via the trailer today, after all that's been going on in the world, I blinked tears.
  9. I stumbled upon them on Spotify, and I'm real entranced by their track John Wayne. It's got me feeling a certain kinda way. Will def listen to more of their stuff when time properly permits
  10. Something more current, that's interesting. I actually had an issue with Coachella first listen, didn't hate it, but was actually a bit underwhelmed, but the chorus and bridge just sold it. The concept changed the meaning of the song, sort of amplified it and it got better imo
  11. I don't have anything productive to churn out, but I'm just commenting bc I'd like to think the thread could build up to 1500 pages before we get the record.
  12. Title. I'll confess, from the sugary bops that Pop served in the early 2010's, Born to Die's title track made me feel all sluggish and I disliked the sound that this woman was making of her music. Interestingly enough, most of the album itself was easy to digest, and was a smooth listen. Without You, TIWMUG, and Blue Jeans were instant favorites too. I think it was around a year later that I added the song back into my library, and I loved it after having a kind of life growth after graduating from hs. Thinks progressed faster out of it, and although I was a bit apprehensive of what life would be like in college and everything, I was excited for it, and oddly excited for the song itself. It gave me a push, like a necessary urgency to live alongside life, not chasing it, but actually living. I love listening to BTD whenever I've got a lot on my mind, and it just helps me put things back into perspective. It's like a piece of home now. How bout you? Do you have any songs that irritated you so well, that you now love, or at the very least, don't mind for? How'd it all happen?
  13. I've got pieces of the original Love single promo posters. Pieces because someone decided to rip some of the posters before me
  14. Lol at the Last Air Bender teas Playing the poso game, at least we'll still have song outtakes eventually if she decides not to place them on the actual record.
  15. This is pretty noteworthy actually. Haven't heard her on the waves since like forever and a half ago
  16. Usually I'd just immerse myself in my surroundings when listening to her music, and come up with corresponding images depend ning on the track. I'll try this now tho So I'm listening to Lucky Ones, and it'd go like this: We see a city burning in flames, it's set in the 1920's aesthetic and Lana and her man are in the middle class. Lana's already boarded at the end of the train, and she's reaching out for her man to catch up and get on the train. The moment their forearms touch, they're suddenly transported into this mindset of spring flowers, in a prairie flower field. She runs to him and she starts crying tears of joy. Day and night, they're just seen in the back car of the train, lights changing and seen between the cracks of the railway car, as they travel in it, a railroad on a mid tall cliff next to the sea. We see their silhouettes as they're sitting on the edge of the side of the railcar, her head on his shoulders, as the water glistens all around them.
