yeah ik. if she wants to just throw something together for us next year i think those would be the best.

the only 4 existing songs that deserve this treatment Where Do Babies Come From? Birthing Addicts You Love I Dear Pocupines

I think Wild is considered the lead single bc the EP was more of a sampler? But I don't think Youth is considered the lead.

Honestly he should've performed Bite, Suburbia or Fools.

tea. I think his performance was rather weak bc his mic was lower than the drums. And another song would've been better.

You clearly can't read, but thanks. I would only consider Troye a nobody before Youtube bc he was 10-12 years old, and even then he was a theatrical performer in XMen (a film that grossed $373mil despite his minor role) and Oliver. Even with a major record deal Melanie is selling M&G for a video budget and performs for 500 people per show. I wouldn't put her anywhere near as popular as Troye (who has 3.7 mil YT subs + every one of his vids has at least 140k views - 292mil total). And no I didn't read any of the posts between you+Jack, they're frankly annoying and basic. My point is that although working on tv, Melanie still had to build her fanbase from the ground up to be 1/10th as successful as Troye lol. Not hating on him at all.

I did watch that video. But that's literally after he mentioned starting making vids on YT for success then becoming shy until he did FIOS. And yikes, Melanie went into a televised competition but didn't even crack the top 5 (let alone winning) and she remains the most relevant person on that show besides the judges. She was a nobody before the show and didn't trick tweens into buying anything they put out. This isn't EllieBoards sis. And people have been saying she slept with producers for her "hits". Lana never once fucked a label head for success, because realistically, AKA was going nowhere and unless she was on her knees for Emile Haynie or Justin Parker but, I digress...
-
The thing is, he went into doing Youtube with the intent to become successful THEN do music after getting his fanbase to "trust" him or whatever. He wanted people to buy the music.

I think the standard album has 4-5 listenable tracks. The rest aren't distinct or add any quality to the release. The best tracks are sourced from the deluxe album. Isn't he signed to EMI Australia? Yes. Has he been in multiple Hollywood movies? Yes. Does he not have a Target exclusive album? Yes. Has he already done sold out tours? Yes. Does he not have literally millions of followers on social media? Yes, over 3 million I believe. Did he not create his Youtube "empire" as a means to get a fanbase before introducing music? He did and admitted to it. I don't think he's necessarily bad for doing any of those things and he may not be properly manufactured like many artists he definitely did get a push by industry people for a debut album. And if he didn't amass a loyal following of tween girls he would be singing in his bedroom.

It's a Lorde album honestly. Only the songs Allie X worked on lyrically shine tbh. Bite, Wild, Suburbia, TMD and Fools are the only songs that have real personality to them. I feel like the album suffers from being too long (18 tracks) and if it was cut down to 13 songs it would weed out some of the weaker songs.
-
I don't think Lorde actually hated Lana. It was more of the attitude of Born to Die, which romanticized sadness + dependency on men. I think she matured and started to listen more to what was behind the facade of the "Lana" character and changed her views accordingly. Some of y'all act like you were the smartest feminists in the world at 15-17. It's a process to learn and grow.

I only watch videos in 420p. Gotta love that LQ mess.

It's fun to collect, I have 2 currently and even though I don't play them often they're still creative (esp since I have the MP3s). Hardly, not many people have them but it's not like they were being remade. It's not like she's selling floppy disks for HM videos.

Source I see Lanaboards has made it into Lana's home

The fact that she sounds so consistent live as she does (without vocal filters) on the album is so rare. And I would probably box her in the dark wave/dark pop + trip hop box if I had to.

She's saying c*nt. She's a woman. -
I actually think instead of killing off characters randomly like FS, this appreciated a more drawn out storyline that didn't cut around too much from the main story. Hotel's characters actually seem to have depth. Oh and Finn Wittrock (Tristan) also plays Valentino because Countess says she was only interested in him because of the resemblance.
-
I agree but she worked on a "few" full albums with Boots that may get released soon (hopefully for free). So I don't think we are gonna have to wait too long.
-
She's gonna do everything she can to pay for videos. TYI is the next song after Training Wheels too.

MPH, TYI and Teddy Bear. Cry Baby falls in love with Johnny in Soap, afraid to accurately express her love she takes him to the park (Training Wheels) and she attempts to date him and he leaves her. The next video is for the title track I believe, it starts the beginning of the story and the "next" part will be Tag You're It where Cry Baby gets kidnapped by the wolf.
