I haven’t done my nominations yet but I will nominate @Make me your Dream Life as underrated, I think all the threads you make are super creative and very fun to read and sometimes participate in during dry periods in between the album and single hype.

I’d like to request that users who have changed their usernames the past year to come forward and say what they used to go by as, it’s like I don’t recognize you after a name change.

@Embach Thank you for the mentions but most of all, thank you for taking time typing all that down! I really appreciate it and agree a lot with you. Have fun sweeping the awards this year! Unpopular opinion, but I think it’d be fun to see a non-moderator user be nominated for the peace keeper award. Not because the mods don’t deserve it, they definitely do and I think they’re doing a great job, but it’d be… fun! ^^

Let me do a half-assed campaign too. *clears thorat* Veteran member I’ve been a user here since 2017, visiting, if not daily, at least weekly. During my time here, I’ve put together a LB 101 thread, held several Secret Santa events, and even been a moderator, too. I write down important details up to the album releases so that I, and others, can go back and see who said what and when, and avoid starting rumors by quoting wrong or not double checking the facts. I might not be the most active on the forums anymore but I’m one of the active veterans. Hybrid fan I keep the Hozier, Laufey, and Inhaler threads alive (or at least try to lol). I might not share songs often in the status updates (because it feels like no one really cares but me lol), but I am a passionate fan. 13 of 20 posts on one page in the Hozier thread were written by me, the Laufey thread was created by me and 14 posts on the first page were mine, I created the thread for Inhaler too. I went to five concerts in 2023 and saw at least 8 different acts. I bought two albums by the icon Hikaru Utada while I was vacationing in Japan this past summer, whose music I’ve been listening to for 15 years at minimum. And if that’s not enough, I edit and write columns for another fansite. Thank you!

I don’t know… murder is always wrong. But I understand why people aren’t mad, the access to healthcare in the US seems to be… a joke sometimes. I saw a lady on social media yesterday describe how her mom had to visit Iran, a country she had fled from and is under heavy sanctions, to be able to afford cancer treatment… that’s insane.

I’d love to hear more versions of this song. I did a little search and he has played this live before, hopefully that means it’ll be released one day!
