    Stuff I Like.....

Hey guys, i just wanted to make a thread to share stuff i like, that you might not have heard of Imelda May: Shes a rockabilly singer from the Liberties In Dublin, Ireland. Little Boots: She sings classy electro/pop. Shes from Blackpool, England: Miles Jai: Hes a really funny, rachet ass youtuber. Post your own below if you like
  4. I think we need to stop assuming all of Lanas songs were written by her
  5. eww mike has a face like a slapped arse
  6. Sorry but i couldn't just pick two: Hauting "livin on bread and oranges..." I adore this whole shoot
  7. k ill replace it with this instead
  8. Hey guys, i making this thread because i think everyone is too fixated on Lanas small boobs, and they seem to forget her amazing posterior (sorry if this thread already exists, but the search bar wouldn't let my look up ass) post more pics guys.... oh and, lel

    Outnumbered

i cant stand this programme. The acting is too shitty, even if theyre just kids. But my cousins have all the boxsets ... so maybe its good and im just weird

    Little Boots

flawless bitch. So Excited for the Broken Record video (if theres gonna be one). I understand why Headphones isnt on Nocturnes. Its because it doesnt fit with the feel of the rest of the album. Headphones is obviously highly influnced by Kylie Minogue and sounds very pop and its not very electronic sounding. Boots said she wanted to created a classy electro-pop album because most pop has loads of shitty overused 'dubstep' beats.

    1949

I hear: You like my blue nail polish, What is all this, you said "little miss, upstairs. Don't be scared" and i still keep hearing "dain (?) and i on our last vacation" also in the last chorus it changes to "motel flower nation" and "before he says goodbye"
  15. http://www.complex.com/art-design/2013/04/portfolio-review-photographer-chuck-grant/cg6#./?&_suid=136519945683006904025301454166 Chuck talked a bit about Dreamland: "Dreamland is a series we’ve been working on together in installments. It’s a bit more romantic than my previous work, something I’ve found both challenging and exhilarating. It will most likely come out as a book in the next couple years."
  16. 9 i love that shoot "take me to paris"
  17. ugghh but the lyrics are so mediocre on for k part 2 why is it in the top two??? Kill Kill 36 For K Part 2 65
  18. emm its hard to explain. not sure where to start..... in 1952 methods of mind control were developed by the CIA with the help of ex nazi scientist who used electroshock treatment on subjects (many of which did not consent) and the voltage used was 40 times what it normally is. The point of the torture was to force the victim to dissociate from reality, which is what the mind does to deal with extreme pain. With repeated disociation the victim develops alter personas/identitys which can be manipulated by the handler (person who tourtured the victim) to do what they want. In 1973 (i think) the cia commisioner ordered that all the Mk ultra files be destroyed but some survived and they were declassified in 2001
  19. i was a conspiracy theorist for awhile lol. I learned alot about all this stuff and it scared the living shit out of me. I deleted my whole music library off my phone after hearing those backmasked messages. I had completely blocked it out of my mind until now..... thanks. But anyway, i personnaly have no doubt that some sort of fucked up organisation is influencing the governments, mass media etc. But ignorance is bliss tbh. When i was all caught up in that shit i felt like there was nothing i could do to like stop them i suppose, and for me that was the worst bit. Some of it has been proven like Project MK Ultra which began in WW2, and the satanic backmasking in music- in the 80s people started having record burnings and it became law to have a sticker on the front of cds saying that they contained backmasking(but that eventually stopped)
  20. for k part one is just too far fetched to be true imo. "now hes in a jail cell for some thirty years now" she was only 17..... I looked up stuff about the prisons in California and the only one that has a death row for male inmates is San Quentin State Prison, nowhere near Santa Monica or even L.A. if he was from New York why would he go to a prison in California ? i don't know i don't live in the US but to me it sounds weird. on a bit of an unrelated note what does For K part 2 have to do with Part One it doesn't seem like a continuation of the story. And it talks about the man as a lover instead of a friend like in Part 1 Its a great story but im afraid thats probably all it is.
  21. this is one of my favorite lana playlists: Kinda Outta Luck Kinda Outta Luck Hey Lolita Hey (demo) Go Go Dancer You Can Be The Boss Dangerous Girl Hundred Dollar Bill Its starts off dark but then the mood quickly changes to fun and sexy and then ends on another dark note It has elements of hip hop, that Hawaiian glam surf noir stuff and jazz. It showcases lots of lanas styles
  22. im nearly sure the album was going to be fun and sexy and would include the songs Kinda Outta Luck, You Can Be The Boss, and the Hey Lolita Hey demo (and maybe even Go go Dancer and Ghetto Baby), but then video games got really popular (lana said it wasnt even supposed to be a single) and they changed the production on most of the songs to complement Video Games and they dropped KOL and YCBTB. The album would definatly have a different name aswell.
