I did this portrait of Lana a while ago and I just finished it, I wanted to submit it to the Dear Lana project so! Let me know what you guys think!
 

Victoria Christina Hesketh, also known by her stage name/pseudonym Little Boots, is an Englishelectropop singer-songwriter. Her stage name comes from a nickname given to her by a friend, a reference to her unusually small feet. As a musician, Little Boots sings and plays the piano, keyboards, synthesizer, Stylophone and a Japanese electronic instrument called Tenori-on. 

After a return to college to focus on her studies, Hesketh along with two of her fellow students formed the electronic/indie pop band Dead Disco. The band had limited releases of their four singles but due to increasingly different ideas about the band’s musical direction, Hesketh left to pursue a solo career. Hesketh has cited as influences The Human League, Gary Numan, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Kylie Minogue,Britney Spears, and Jean Michel Jarre.

Hesketh began writing her own songs and posting covers on the social networking sites such as YouTube and MySpace. After appearing on several shows including Later… with Jools Holland and Last Call with Carson Daly, Hesketh entered production on her debut album Hands. With increasing media attention regarding her then-yet-to-be-released debut album, Hesketh topped the BBC Sound of 2009 poll and received a BRIT Critics Choice nomination. With the release of her debut she has been linked to a recent wave of breakthrough female artists in their twenties playing 1980s-influenced music, including Lady Gaga,Ladyhawke, Florence and The Machine, and Elly Jackson of La Roux.
 
Her new album is out in May and it's PERFECT

When is this due? Maybe she'll remember me as the only guy who asked a valuable question at her Ride premiere

i was a conspiracy theorist for awhile lol. I learned alot about all this stuff and it scared the living shit out of me. I deleted my whole music library off my phone after hearing those backmasked messages. I had completely blocked it out of my mind until now..... thanks. But anyway, i personnaly have no doubt that some sort of fucked up organisation is influencing the governments, mass media etc. But ignorance is bliss tbh. When i was all caught up in that shit i felt like there was nothing i could do to like stop them i suppose, and for me that was the worst bit. Some of it has been proven like Project MK Ultra which began in WW2, and the satanic backmasking in music- in the 80s people started having record burnings and it became law to have a sticker on the front of cds saying that they contained backmasking(but that eventually stopped)

i probably wouldnt still be a fan if i hadnt found all her old music, i think i would have just got bored.
 
i really want her to dye her hair blonde again but not platinum, more like this : 
but at the same time i feel like that look doesn't fit with her music (not that it should have to). But if I look back at pictures from say 2009 and listen to something from BTD I just cant imagine that girl singing such powerful songs so i think that's why she dyed her hair brown nearly to make herself more believable or something.

There's BOTH A-TL and boiling tea kettle on MDM. They alternate with each other on the chorus.

Yeah this is true, its why she also started singing in a much lower pitch than before because her voice is pretty high and she didnt think anyone would take her seriously. Same with the blonde hair. I guess she has a point (feel bad that a lof of people think blonde girls are ditzy and dumb  - cant say I havent thought the same a couple of times THO, playing off stereotypes) but idk, I think since she's  pretty much already established herself she could just go back to blonde any time but its like she's stuck in this ldr character and being blonde doesnt fit into it. ~~luv that color too though. its really pretty. 

I don't get the love for Ben either. I don't care how attractive you think he is, I've seen plenty of evidence he's a dick. And while he's managed Lana on her path to success, I think he's made serious errors.
