i LOVE this sound and definitely hear Lana doing this style of music in the future.

She contradicts herself like she’s openly said. She wants her music to reach a wide variety of people but at the same time doesn’t want to have a face in it. She wants for people to feel understood and wants to tell a story through her lens, but doesn’t want to be criticized for her past or present life. It’s obvious she just wants to put music out there without the glamour that was LANA DEL REY in the past. She’s gathered her coins and will always have an income with BTD. She will now lay low probably for the rest of her life and continue to do minimalistic promo and give us only music.

if Ben & Lana wanted a surprise release he wouldn’t have so much need to throw his rage at us and say that it’s not coming in March. but it’s not gonna come guys. Lets give it up

Honestly! I’m a senior in high school and I wanted to cry to In You Car on the last day and drive home listening to the album. I’m just hoping that the album is out before I move away in august so I can cry to it on the drive LOL.

I had the CRAZIEST dream. The most active members of LanaBoards were all invited to a dinner that Lana was hosting and it was only her “stans”. she had security at the doors and when one girl tried to get in she pushed them out. She said she needed to tell us an announcement. I didn’t hear what she said because somehow i got out of the room and couldn’t get back in. but i did finally meet her and she dropped her WEDDING RING on the floor.

I remember a post I made a while back and it was talking about the astrological seasons Lana has released in. Born to Die- Aquarius- originality influence of Aquarius for the uniqueness of sound Lana brought to the table Paradise- Scorpio- intense and dark influence of Scorpio with Tropico being based off of gangs, sex, and drugs. Ultraviolence- Gemini- the twins really influenced this album as Lana's other half of her ( considering she is a Gemini ) took over creating a different atmosphere of sound as a whole as opposed to orchestral BTD. Honeymoon- Virgo- VERY vanity based as Virgo stands for the virgin and all things pure, centers around beauty and all things organized and well put together. Lust For Life- Cancer- MIX OF EMOTIONS, going from point a to point b out of nowhere in instrumentals. very moody. I feel like NFR can easily be considered with the emotions of her Taurus rising. it fits well as Taurus can be stubborn and right now she’s really caring only about what she wants when it comes to album announcements. Also, Taurus are homemakers and love the fruit of life with binge eating, shopping, and just being casual. Sadly, Taurus season isn’t until April-May

Got my cards read today and they said that March will bring me closure for all my anxiety and suffering. All the waiting will finally pay off they said, so this means that NFR will come

Guys... i love this poetry shit. it coincides with the music. this poem reminds me of In You Car a lot. I do agree this “era” is filled with misconceptions and boring news and not enough interaction from her, but i overall LOVE the music. She’s gonna release it ONE day so don’t think that it will never see the light of day, i won’t say to be patient cause patience eventually wears thin. but the day that she does release NFR we will LOVE it.

oh Lana sweetie if you feel this way then please take a much needed break. I wouldn’t be mad at all if she took a 2-3 year break from music. I honestly feel like we’ve been spoiled with MUSIC releases from her ( not spoiled in recently ). LFL had custom merch, world tour, pop up shops, big budget videos. and then a year and a half later to release a whole new project? she’s done her work. I hope she finds a break soon and comes back fresh. If she’s tired then she needs to stop. I rather her stop then give us half assed work

I conpletely agree with this. This album has the potential to be critically acclaimed and receive multiple nominations. It’s personal and unique and the flare from the recent singles prove that it’s such an authentic, raw album. But Lana decides to put this album in the shadows and maybe she feels it’s too personal? to make it a “big” album with promotion and high budget videos but come on. Pride should be put into the work that you do. she’s just selling herself short.

The reason i believe its March is because it’s a personal interview with her and without a doubt i’m positive they asked about the album release date. She definitely discussed the album since they talked about promotion. She could have simply said “March” and if it’s an interview Lana sure would have hopefully read the article beforehand or at least has seen it by now OR the interviewer gave a recap and she was okay with it. it may hurt me in the end, but i’m still with March.

Kind of depends on what you want to do with an album. For me I’ve done different variations of promotion – like if we have a big music video sometimes I’ll have a little premiere for it at one of the local theaters and that’s always really fun. For my earlier albums I would do a lot of promotion before anything got released, but I usually still go to most of the record stores here or in San Francisco and play a couple of the new songs before anything comes out and just do small things like that. It kind of feels different every time but I’m always excited just to have my work out there once it’s done!
