  1. rina deserves to be recognized as a global pop star. her energy and flow and creativity are just beautiful.
  2. Listening to HAIMs album and it’s actually good! I’m glad alt girlies are being exposed to the mass media and getting recognition. The list should have gone... After Hours Folklore Future Nostalgia Fetch the Bolt Cutters Fine Line and the 3 other noms being whatever else
  3. I know i’m late but for the weeknd to get 0 noms.... no fucking words.... absolutely ridiculous! He needs to expose every fucking detail
  4. Just wanted to share how I stumbled upon a masterpiece while I was on a date once in a small town in Texas. We went to this record store that had a bunch of random shit. At the corner of my eye I saw “Ultraviolence” written across the spine of a big box and I found the BOX SET... for $50... perfect condition! It had never been used. Instantly bought it. I had dreamed of owning it in high school but never had the chance to buy before it sold out.

    I think “close” is BAWDY
  8. The song was underwhelming... like multiple have said on here she’s played it way to safe with this one. I want to hear some electric guitars inspired album or some dance. This is cheap pop radio material
  9. I would love to discuss! This book was amazing in every aspect. The photos, the writing, the placement of poems, the space at the end to write our own poetry... she really outdid herself. My favorite was Thanks to the Locals, it really got me emotionally and her vulnerability was captivating. This book is very special. I also like to add that she said my name in the poem In the Flats of Melrose!
  10. She looks fucking amazing while being a criminal! But foreal the fact that she was on a road that winded and looked as if she was pretty high up from the ground this era makes her crazy as fuck
  11. The piano instrumental was beautiful and pure, her voice seems so excited and in love with her kittens. She deserves the upmost happiness in the world. I love you Lana
  12. I go to a university in Texas and surprisingly we’re not experiencing a ton of cases as I would have expected. As for the US it’s not being taken seriously at all. Plenty of businesses are open and although there are “social distancing” practices ensured its hard to believe it will help any transmission. Masks are mandatory everywhere. As for a COCC tour, it’s not happening and won’t be. Covid-19 has changed the future in many many ways. At least the US won’t be seeing Lana tour for a while.

  14. Yes! Me too! The new EP has been on repeat recently
  15. Wish this thread was still alive, hugeee summer walker fan here
  16. Paradise is very fragile has to be one of my favorite lyrical bodies of work that lana has ever published. Every word is divine and puts me in this headspace that i’m not alone with what I feel. She just did an amazing job.
  17. https://www.cracked.com/article_28319_lana-del-reys-album-spoken-word-poetry-...-not-good.html The Lena Dunham of music...
  18. You have to view the audible website as a desktop version on your phone, only then will it show the cancel subscription option. I didn’t know either until it allowed me to view the entire page as it would be on a desktop.
  19. I relate to Lana a fuck ton. Personally, my mother decided to give me up to my dad and that has left me a bit traumatized throughout my life. Lana felt like her mother abandoned her by sending her to boarding school. When Lana pleads about wanting to be a mother I understand every point, because when you grow up without a mother (for me & i’m assuming for Lana) you want to change the dynamic and not have to repeat the same curse for your own children. You want to be there and until you’re able to resolve and give the entirety of your love to a child that you wish was you, you will feel contempt.
  20. I have really big questions about her relationship with her mother, like what really happened between them? The last time i remember them pictured together was in the honeymoon era. Also in LA who am i to love you is she alluding to the loss children she may have been pregnant with when she says “Mother to no one, private jet for one, Back home to the Tudor house that borned a thousand murder plots”? as if she puts her unborn children to rest? Or may she be talking about the murder she’s done over multiple relationship with ppl.
  21. I wonder if the instrumentals from violet are gonna resemble that of chemtrails over the country club... i’m definitely here for it... the static radio gives this feel of the 60s (i believe) where the radios and televisions had that raw audio with static, this can mimic that of country clubs in that era of the american dream. i envision an apocalyptic album where there are chemtrails over this 60s era country club and the people that attend the club are almost evil... with static radios and televisions due to the destruction that’s to come from the demolishing of America
  22. Paradise is Very Fragile has this dark and lonely undertone to it, it’s like fast visions of a past life flash before your eyes. I love it so fucking much.
  23. This bitch did what she had to fucking do! and to Jack, thank you for creating the best atmosphere for every poem. It wouldn’t be the same without each guitar.
  24. Are there any poems that will fucking ruin me? Like tears due to the production and word combo?
