Well, there are exactly 512 hours left until the album is released on all streaming services, and 5+1+2=8, and this is Lana’s 8th studio album, and we’re on the last page before we reach 280 pages, on the last day of the month before October, so this is a great sign! <3

Black Bathing Suit reminds me of that IG story Clay posted in September 2020, where Lana was swimming in a pool at night, aptly wearing a black bathing suit. I wonder if she got the idea to write that song around that time/based on the potential reoccurrence of swimming around that time! I feel that it is definitely going to be a more “sensual” song.

I’m so surprised at Sweet Carolina being one of the shorter tracks, but I also think it could be a short and sweet closer where everything she’s needed to say, she’s already said throughout the record
