Still Burning Desire and Fl*r*da K*l*s And I wouldn’t say I hate it but part of me kinda resents Doin’ Time lmao. I still think it was shoehorned onto the album at the last minute bc it was performing well and someone (Lana, the label, whoever) wanted to boost sales; it doesn’t fit with the rest of the album at all, and it flows better without it. It also annoys me that out of all the fantastic original work and songwriting she’s done (even on NFR), of all songs, this song - a cover - got so much attention. It’s not even her best cover IMO.

I wonder what route they'll go if they do pursue making an official Episode Three. There are already at least two mods being made based on Epistle 3, so I wonder if they'd go with that anyway, or maybe alter it, or just come up with something entirely new – maybe a Half-Life 3. On another note regarding VR I may just have to bite the bullet and save up for a new PC; mine cries whenever I try to play Black Mesa so I've pretty much stalled on anything Half-Life and Portal for the time being. May as well kill two birds with one stone lol

Serious question: do some people actually think HIADTFAWLMTHBIHI is among Lana's best songwriting? I wouldn't call it bad but there are parts (the opening in particular) that just feel too clunky and awkward for me. It sounds like a first draft that was never revisited. It's honestly not even top tier NFR for me. I will say I love the delivery of the outro though.
