White Mercedes is such a uniting song. The locals love it, the angels with taste love it, it's a song that brings us together.

Lana's kinda the worst at describing what her upcoming music will sound like. She said Lust for Life would have the same aesthetic as Honeymoon (and that Honeymoon would be in the same vein as Born to Die if i remember correctly). She also said NFR would be in the same vein as Change, which I guess it kinda is w some songs, but in general NFR is totally different.

LFL hate is so interesting to me cause there are a lot of people who dislike this album but still like a couple of songs, but those couple of songs are always different depending on the person, there aren't like a few set songs that are universally liked by everyone (other than Heroin). The songs that they think are good are disliked by the next peson who doesn't like LFL. I honestly love LFL, the only thing that I dislike about it is that it had way more potential if she kept that 60s witch in space theme going for all of the album.

I wonder if she'll actually keep the name 'White Hot Forever' as an album title or if this is gonna be a situation like when she said her next album would be called 'Music To Watch Boys To' when it ended up being called 'Honeymoon'.

I haven't really kept up with her in a while cause Joyride didn't really do anything for me but I'm so glad she finally got full creative freedom. Nightride's one of the best bodies of work from 2016. I'm so excited for her new music.

Yeah FIILY is different on physical copies. She mentioned how the album had to be done 90 days before the release and that she can't change anything after that cause of physical copies. FIILY's the last song she did for this album, they probs changed the beats after the album was already "done".

No Angel

How is Death By Sex way dark.. The outro's dark, but sonically the song sounds like any other Clarity song.. The first verse is kinda dark but most of the song's just "oh, death by sex ,oh, death by sex, yeah, sex, sex, sex, ,yeah, death by, death by sex, oh, death by, death by sex". If the song was changed up the tiniest bit lyrically it would fit in perfectly in Clairty. Same goes for Personal Hell, if a few of the lyrics were changed up a bit to make it more halloween-y it would fit in perfectly in TOTL.

It does make sense. A song can sound like another song but still won’t be as good. I don’t think K-12 sounds that much like Crybaby though, but I do think the Crybaby outtakes are far better than the K-12 songs. Crybabies just get bitter whenever someone has the slightest bit of criticism about Melanie’s new music.

I love a good Woo-Ah but I'm glad she didnt put a Woo-Ah in almost all of the TOTL songs. She already did that w Clarity. It would be too overdone if she did the same w TOTL.

Death By Sex and Personal Hell sound switched, like, Death By Sex is such a clarity song, and Personal Hell would fit in perfectly in TOTL.
