I don't speak German but it does say Japan Import so maybe that's not really much to worry/panic about. For example, The Weeknd's latest album was released in March November but the Japanese release was released late December, at least according to YesAsia.com. Stuff being released later in Japan isn't unheard of, and obviously it's gonna take some time for a German store (or whatever) to get a Japan release in stock and available for them to sale etc.

I don't really think so, or at least I can't make any good use of the EAN code or the distributor (UNI) myself. What's bothering me is the fact that they're not saying really anything about the release or delivery time. I googled the EAN though and it directed me to some other European sites where they gave 26th as the release date, like the Universal Music Finland site I linked earlier. But then again, CDON.com doesn't quite seem to list the release dates or any other info until the release date is just a few days away.

I was bored so I decided I'd do some quick (and rough) concept stuff on what Lust for Life could look like but after a while I lost all of my motivation so I ended up doing only a few. But yeah, I could definitely image some shots of Lana and Weeknd sitting on the H like in the audio video, some close ups and the Schindler's List -effect where it's all black and white except for strong red colors (Lana's dress and lipstick). For the chorus I could imagine them to the flower field of the single cover (this time in color), Lana doing some slow-motion twirls embracing life with relieved-like singing and slashing some smiles to the camera while Weeknd's doing his parts. Why not a few adorable close up smiles too. I liked the setting of Weeknd's latest music video so I wouldn't mind if there were something similar and space-like, so it could be continuation to the Love video in a way but possibly just less obvious. As the sound of the verses is darker than during the chorus, I'd follow the same pattern with the images. More black and white, more dark lightning and contrast, and as the song gets to the chorus, a quick white fade to sunshine and flowers and lighter mood with slow-motion for a few lines. Closer to the end they could just come off with some "behind the scenes" footage of Lana and Abel messing around and having fun in the set during filming lol

West Coast Ultraviolence has the best era so far IMO and I associate the song with those great memories and the '14 summer. Nothing better than a warm sunset and hanging on the beach with WC playing on. It's my ultimate Lana jam haha so yeah I'm gonna be a bit disappointed if she's not going to do it this summer when I'm going to see her at Flow Festival. I doubt she'll do it but still. Back in 2013 I used to adore Ride but now I've just sort of forgotten about it, which is a shame because it really is a beautiful song. High by the Beach is one of my jams along West Coast so I'd give it the 2nd place and leave Ride and Video Games fighting for the 3rd lol.

I'm kind of torn between the two but I'm gonna have to go with Lust for Life since I've had it on replay far more recently. Before the release I was kinda worried about The Weeknd collab - I have his latest album on CD and I really like Stargirl Interlude, but my main concern was how well he'd actually fit into Lana's sound. And it being the title track didn't help lol. Luckily the song's actually better than I expected and I find myself listening to it and having it stuck in my head at least several times a day

Universal Music Finland has had the album up on their site for a while now with 26th as the release date. idk what's taking so long but I wish she announced the tracklist and formats soon (I need a box set tbh). Hope it's not actually delayed because I'm thirsty af

This. Basically most of the Britney Army is now having a meltdown and they're bashing her just because she didn't perform which was never even confirmed. The whole announcement event was overhyped by the fans, actually I was a bit disappointed too but I'm over it. Right now I'm ashamed to admit that I am one of them Everyone should be happy that we got the GMA interview, she was so much more relaxed and excited than in any of the Femme Fatale era interviews. She was fun and even mentioned both Jason and Justin which I'm applausing her for. And more importantly, we got the album release date! December 3rd, can't wait!
