  1. nectar of the goods sounds like a gangsta nancy sinatra soundcloud era bop sequel to kinda outta luck / you can be the boss / dum dum that we need
  2. I don't know adele or taylor's music at all but the impression i got from beautiful which might be in the same wavelength is it's exactly the kind of song titled "beautiful" i'd expect from lana lol, very much how I felt in 2015 hearing "eyes of blue blue blue blue blue blue blue blue blue sun reflecting in your eyes" (freak) for the first time Her voice does have this updated sound in that her melodies are fresh / structured differently w this album, at least on the new tracks, so overall things appear to be progressing / maturing
  3. The outro of IYLDWM is what makes it a 5/5 to me. A few parts of the album (piano playing & the horns for instance) give me this feeling of instruments being recorded inside the halls of a family house or smthn it's hard to describe but touching
  4. ( Sweet Carolina is the best track on the album though -- everything you'd hope to expect from a rob / chuck collab )
  5. yth and fine china could've fit on this album so easily ... magnum opus
  6. idk about ranking the albums because my mind would probably change w each number but if i was ever to recommend 5 lana albums they would be 1. Blue banisters 2. Paradise 3. Ultraviolence 4. Norman Rockwell 5. Honeymoon b. Lana Del Ray
  7. i feel like this album resolved what began narratively in honeymoon (unresolved in lfl) and nfr & cocc both only touched upon
  8. is the final quarter of black bathing suit what venice bitch would've sounded like w/o jack antonoff
  9. it's so complicated I just prefer not to form an opinion / think of it as none of my business... I already had her discography prior to it being made available to stream anyway so that helped w beiing impartial
  10. not the list of barrie songs starting and ending with Paradise. that is definitely crazy. ultraviolence + honeymoon found dead
  11. I assume the 4 songs he meant are just Black Beauty, Brookyln Baby, Living Legend and Nectar of the Gods
  12. Could just be the outro cut out... idk though holding out hope for a revamped version / different edit
  13. Heard Aaliyah (2001) for the first time in April this year after listening to Are You That Somebody last year... Pretty much been stuck in a loop of her discography since then. I still haven't heard a few tracks from her first record. Some of my fav tracks: Never givin' up, No days go by, Loose Rap, I Don't Wanna, Rock The Boat, More than a woman, I need you Tonight, Where could he be, Journey To The Past, Turn The Page, If Your Girl Only Knew, Come Back In One Piece, messed up, it's whatever, One in a million, I care 4 U, Back & Forth, I Am Music, choosey lover, at your best you are love
  14. He stood up and paused staring silently under the stars He is a nocturnalist, chasing dreams is just the price he pays And the haloed Hollywood sign is staring back at him in praise Every night before, the velvet dark sky was void of any light or life Hateful now under the bleak haze of gazing Hollywood, plugged bright
  15. Convince me Life is Beautiful and this aren't about the exact same thing (just heard it for the first time, why isn't it on iTunes
  16. Meet me in the morning, wrap your arms around me Tell me that it's over now that you have found me Walk me to the river, see the willow bowing Carry me into the water, now we're drowning vs You're Superman and I'm not, it's on your terms, we can waste all my time Because I want you, I wanna go with you, Don't leave me here, I wanna go with you
  17. Is it me or does she kind of look like barrie here .... as true loves do
