This actually makes me nervous about the record. I could deal with an A$AP Rocky feature or two, but random ass rap features with people and beats that are too much? No. I hope not. Lust for Life will be garbage if it has multiple fucking Carti features on it. As it is, I didn't want a Lana Duets album but here we fucking are.

She can show an interest and it still be a mess. And the clip sounded like a mess. It had way too much going on. I'd rather have a G-Eazy feature than a damn Playboy Carti feature. And I don't want a G-Eazy feature.

I hope the song isn't for Lust For Life tbh. Playboy Carti is trash and this song could easily be the Jewels & Drugs of her career (that is to say, a complete disaster).

That doesn't make sense. Why would Lana leak a low quality, 97kbps bitrate version of a song? (The Best American Record I have, that I got within an hour of its leak, was 97kbps) And if Lana leaked it...why would it have been scrubbed from the Internet as fast as it was?

I would neverrrrr. Maybe it's because I'm a fan of opiates, but I couldn't snort a random amount of an unidentified powder. I never really saw Lana as a coke type of girl. I see her as more of a heroin, meth, or PCP-type.

There's no way to know if that's actually coke, since you can't (for the most part) identify a drug 100% based on appearance. But cocaine and multiple different opioids/opiates can look alike (fentanyl, U-47700, crushed Dilaudid, etc.)

Ehhh. the Florida Kilos lines really don't mean anything. And I doubt Lana has ever done crack cocaine (and I just noticed those lines were kinda wrong, you can't make crack with baking powder, only baking soda).

There are other drugs that are white powder.

From my understanding: the title No Kung Fu is fanmade, but it's a real demo tape. I don't know how it leaked, but I remember reading somewhere that it was uploaded to a torrent site as a demo tape from Lana. I know the torrent was real, but I don't know if that's where the leak actually came from.

We haven't heard the studio version of Cherry, though. And when Lana performs songs, she tends to cut parts of them out, so it could be a line from Cherry we haven't heard.

Is there any new news?

I feel like trying to glean information about Lana's friendships based on social media following/unfollowing is a really bad idea. Short of them badmouthing her online, there's nothing that can really indicate what their status is in her life.

I feel like there should be. Maybe I misunderstood the info that we have of Lana's Lizzy Grant years, but wasn't she supposed to be highly acclaimed? Like, iTunes gave her a blurb predicting potential future popularity, before she ever became Lana Del Rey (I think it was for the Kill Kill EP). And she performed at well-known New York City clubs and for colleges, so there SHOULD be people who followed her until now. It's the same with the physical CD copy of AKA. We know that physical CDs of AKA were made to be sold at her performances and that people bought them...so why haven't any of them surfaced on like, Ebay? (Unless they have and I didn't notice.) Some of her friends unfollow to avoid, well, us. So maybe that's what happened.

You know who I want to join? A person who has been a fan of Lana Del Rey since she was Lizzy Grant. If that were the case, it would probably damage her reputation and the reputation of publications that ran with that date. Plus, it'd be a damn good reason for not financially supporting her.

Yeah. I've never seen the full performance. Aren't there people who trade unleaked/unseen videos of her Lizzy performances? They might have it.

I don't think there is one. Has Lana done any live performances of Pawn Shop Blues, other than that 10 minute long interview/mess featuring a bunch of irrelevant people?
