  1. I'm from the town in S**th D*k*t* that homes the current Coronavirus hot spot in the US, and I can sadly confirm people are rallying against stay at home orders. Our governor is one of the few who refuses to declare a stay at home order, so our mayor tried to enforce one just for our city. People (a small group, but a group nonetheless) protested outside of city hall and now our mayor has suddenly changed their mind and will no longer seek to enforce a stay at home order. So basically, it's every man for himself in my state. As you know, the country is still very conservative as a whole. That conservatism is 10x more intensified here in SD. People here see any kind of government order as aN iNfRinGeMeNt On ThEiR RiGhtS. People were calling our mayor a nazi, Hitler, etc. on local news pages when he was trying to enforce a SAH order. Yes, the same people who say "you can't call a white extremist a Nazi!!!" call a man asking people to do their part to stop the spread of a deadly virus Hitler. I wish I could help you understand these people, but I don't understand them myself. This place is my home. It's the place that I grew up and have lived my whole life. It's where my family is. But the state is decades behind the rest of the country and this is just one example of feeling like I'm surrounded by people with completely opposite "values" as me. I'm toying with the idea of moving somewhere more progressive in the next 2 years. Anyway, sorry for my ramble. I hope everyone is staying safe.
  2. The way I'm still obsessed with Break My Heart...THE queen of pop 2020 I would've stayed at home cuzIwasdoingbetteralone But when you said hell-o Iknewthatwastheendofitall
  3. Does this mean we can assume Chuck and Lana are quarantining together? Or not necessarily?
  4. At this point I’m more surprised when she follows through with something versus when she doesn’t
  5. ...Anyways, I got a shipping alert for my box set, hopefully I’ll have it in my hands soon <3 I can’t wait to have a dance party alone in my apartment to Levitate on vinyl
  6. Wait I didn’t even realize Zara was releasing THE Telling It Like It Is, I’m just now listening to it lol I love Dua’s version, bummer she never released it
  7. Good In Bed sweetie I’m sorry, WHAT A BOP. I judged it too quickly...it grew on me so much in just 24 hours. BWBB remains meh, though. Only song I haven’t listened to more than once. I love a good feminist anthem, but it just doesn’t fit with the rest of the album. If she made it more upbeat I could maybe see it.
  8. Hallucinate + Love Again + Break My Heart = a godly flow Love Again is hands down my favorite off the album. Levitating is amazing too, and super fun - she was born to make a song like that. GIB and BWBB are...well, I love the rest of the album. Can't wait to listen to it more. Miss Dua is here to stay.
  9. I haven’t heard the album yet and I’m still waiting for her to drop on Spotify in the US, but I can’t stop listening to BMH in the meantime. I’ve loved all 3 singles, I know I’m going to love this album. Feels good to have something to look forward to and be happy about in this chaos. Miss Dua coming to save pop music and our mental health <3
  10. THE BUDGET. It’s like New Rules MV on speed. I love it.
  11. I wonder how many followers he'll lose on IG, I only followed him for Lana and I can't be the only one...when I found out they officially broke up I unfollowed him so fast. Homeboy better prepare his ego.
  12. Soooooo...are we getting our vinyls earlier or do we still have to wait for those?
  13. Good In Bed will break the internet, I’m manifesting it
  14. Go figure, the time we actually WANT her to stay in, she’s out and about
  15. The taste in this thread...my favorites match a lot of yours so far - Faith, In Your Eyes, After Hours, and Blinding Lights...trying to decide if I like Hardest To Love or not, I feel like it will age quickly for me
  16. (said this in Random Lana Discussion, but I'll say it here too) oh damn...well, I guess that's that I do feel bad for her. The way he describes their relationship sounds like everything she's wanted for a long time. Lowkey coffee dates, beach hangouts, Target runs, Superbowl parties...like, that's what "normal" couples do. Her relationship with Sean was probably the most normal relationship she's had in years, and since we all know (speculate?) she eventually wants to get married, have a family, and settle down, she was probably hopeful this relationship was leading to that. I hope she's taking care of herself <3 and maybe we'll get a few masterpieces out of this

  18. She just gives and gives and gives...I love stanning her
  19. Imagine if she live streamed us an intimate little "concert" in the middle of our Corona quarantines to make up for the date cancellations... (literally, just imagine it because she'll never actually do it)
  20. She’s probably secretly relieved Sorry to everyone who was planning on attending though
