She looks amazing. DT choreo is cute, minus them having to dance in front of her. -

It sounds so good and I want to be excited but it’s hard to be hyped when we have no idea if she’ll go MIA for another 6 months -
Can't believe I really had the nerve to consider Superstar "just okay" when it was first released...it's probably the song from L+F I've listened to the most now.

Maybe I missed a post about it, but I just heard this song on satellite radio and it’s a little longer? They put a small instrumental + some Lana ahhhh ahhhhs between the bridge and the last chorus. -

I had no expectations for this, but WOW. I LOVE IT. If I didn’t know better, I’d think it was a pre-BTD era unreleased. The backing vocals and the “eeeeeeeVIL, I’ve come to tell you that she’s evil, most definite-it-ley” ... I didn’t think sis still had that in her, but god damn, I’m so grateful for this track on repeat. Oh, and I personally don’t have a problem with the abrupt ending at all. The lyrics give me a tense, “hottest part of summer and tensions are high” vibe, and I feel like the sudden ending goes well with that. -
I need Favourite Problem!!!

Thanks, I hate it

Why do artists think slapping a square picture on a white t-shirt is cute? I could buy the same thing on any random website for $5. At least her tour outfits are cute

Am I reaching or was Taylor referencing a bunch of different music videos in the ME! MV? I've got: Dua Lipa: IDGAF (with the suits and slicked back hair) Ariana Grande: No Tears Left To Cry (with the umbrellas and long, flowy dress) Outkast: Hey Ya! (on stage with the vintage feel and the screaming audience) I'm sure there are more, but those are the most obvious to me. The same guy who directed Ariana's NTLTC video also directed ME!, so I like to think it's possible.

omg Electra Heart pt. II is coming In all seriousness though, a loss of identity seems to be one of the very few consistent subjects throughout L+F, in my opinion. When she was taking a hiatus from music, she was exploring different hobbies and experiences to try and discover who she was outside of being a musician. I still get that vibe from her through the lyrics found throughout L+F. I feel like she's a lot like Lana in the regard that she enjoys making and sharing music, but doesn't enjoy the life that comes with it as much anymore, like touring and fame. ("This life don't suit me anymore, the writing's on the wall/But in this handmade heaven, I come alive") But since she's spent such a huge part of her life so far making music and aiming for a level of stardom, when she wants to take a step back from that, she feels lost. Hence her returning to music with an okay/good, not great album. Some of the songs feel very "Marina", like PDCM, Emotional Machine, HH, and To Be Human. But a majority of the other songs feel so uninspired to me.
-
She really scrapped PDCM for No More Suckers...Marina, sweetie...I just wanna talk. (Seriously, I had such high hopes for this song based on all of your feedback, but I don’t see myself ever actively listening to this song again.) EMOTIONAL MACHINE, THOUGH. So good and sort of chill in a way. I also really like Karma, however, I would love to hear a version without all the trop pop vibes. You is still cute. I’m not gonna totally write off L+F until I see/hear the songs performed live. Might totally change my perception of them with choreo and whatnot.

She looks so good.
