I hear it too. I think it's just an honest mistake, her mixing up the words "honey" and "can you" . It's a very sketch-like demo, the pianist messes up too earlier.

I've always felt like there was some kind of connection between them. Not like they met or even knew about each other at first (allthough they certainly did later) but more like they came out of the same movement of mellow, dark and moody music and have the same kind of "sad beauty" aestethic. I could easily see them recognizing themselves in eachothers music.

Which is exactly why I'm dissapointed in "Prisoner". They had the potential to do amazing things together and instead we got a really bland track that tries to hard to be "anthemy". Ugh. Hope they'll collaberate in the future when Abel is over his quest for fame. (Not that I blame him, he deserves the spotlight, but his music is suffering from it).

Pitchfork: What character did Lana Del Rey play on the album?

AT: Me and Lana have been friends for a long time. I’ve inspired her, she’s inspired me. I feel like we’ve always been talking to each other through our music. She is the girl in my music, and I am the guy in her music. It’s just this ghostly collaboration that feels the most natural on the whole album. Even the whole monologue intro on “Lonely Star” from Thursday—I just realized now that that’s Lana. That’s Lana’s voice. [laughs] I mean, it’s my voice pitched up, but it’s her, it’s who she is. She was definitely the first feature that I wanted to bring on this album.

    Just a quick conspiracy..
In one of the trailer park scenes she places a bag of frozen veggies on her head.
Could it mean that her guy hit her?
I mean a lot of the scenes from Tropico are similar to the lyrics of Hundred Dollar Bill with Jimmys ultra violent swings, ya dig?

    Lana helped me realize:

-It's possible to be strongly influenced by past generations/their respective cultures and infuse them into the modern day rather than just appreciate them in a stale, nostalgic way as an outside observer

-Your contradictions, motives, and the assumptions people make about you don't always have to be explained or clarified. People may attribute them to your intelligence and depth of character, or just accuse you of being completely fake, but ultimately it's their issue and has nothing to do with you

-Reinventing yourself in the eyes of others is always possible, as people forget easily and their judgements are usually pretty fickle

-The classic adage that you should be careful what you wish for (I don't know if Lana 'regrets' becoming famous but it's obvious that much of it has been a huge disappointment and source of struggle for her)

-And that getting really obvious plastic surgery doesn't always make you turn out ugly.

For me, the issue of Honeymoon is just not an interesting concept. I'm more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what's going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities. Whenever people bring up Honeymoon, I'm like, god. I'm just not really that interested

Since I listen to Lana, I've changed, I've decided to be who I want and not who the other people want me to. It's a complicate thing to explain (especially without knowing english ). However, she inspired me to live the life like I want and now I'm proud of me, of the person I am and of the person I want to become in future; thanks to Lana I believe in myself and in my ideas

Even though I'm not ecstatic about the Honeymoon snippet, I'm sure I'll end up loving the full version as per usual.
