Gold Coins grew on me it kind of slays actually. It does go pretty hard! I'm using it on a playlist of inspiration for a radio station poster design that's supposed to have a punk "screw the man" vibe haha

I don't think anyone is going to really know that though, except for her existing big fans who already knew before the pushback... The general public hasn't heard a thing she's done since Boom Clap. And some have heard Break the Rules.

It's all happening for her! Slay baby! I may not like her music as much anymore but it is still satisfying when an artist I supported from the very begining is now a huge thing.

Meh my friends all thought it was super bad too but it didn't scare me at all.. I expected worse I guess. Like sure that had to hurt and it's life ruining but idk... I just didn't think it was as awful and disturbing as my friends seemed to think.

But it was SUCH a good episode!!!!!! Yeah the end was sad, but I feel like this was the first truly great episode of the season, although I'm totally going to miss (spoiler... those of you who have seen know who)

Still haven't read the lyrics.. I want the songs to have the intended impact on me when I hear them. If they leak in full I will listen but I can't just read the lyrics, it's too much of a spoiler for me so far ahead of the album release.

I would say Boom Clap > Break The Rules = London Queen > Gold Coins (but it hasn't had a chance to grow on me. Tbh I just don't really like the chorus though. The melody and lyrics don't appeal to me right away)

Oh really? Well this is totally inspired by Beverly Hills nonetheless. And I would say out of the songs we've gotten studio versions of so far, Boom Clap is actually my favorite even though it fits the least on the album.. But London Queen studio version actually grew and I like it now. And I can't deny my secret love for Break the Rules. I wouldn't say I flat out dislike anything. But none of the studio songs released so far have incited a "YAS SLAY" moment in me either lol...

Gold Coins was maybe my least favorite live... And I still don't love it, but it's cute. The instrumental is pretty cool. I don't think there's any doubt this is the song (or one of them if there's multiple) that she did with Rivers. Very Beverly Hills.

but when it's released in the US, everyone in the UK that wants to hear the album will have already heard it anyway because the internet exists. So it seems to make more sense for her to release all 7 tracks before the first official release, at which point every track will be free online. Also, if the next single isn't Famous, bye Sucker era. Famous is a PERFECT single, why is she paying it dust?

I can see where you're coming from. I think the song is beautiful but also I can hear her straining to make her voice that high and it's not my favorite singing style for her. I honestly haven't listned to it much since it first came out. Edit: just realized we only have 3 of the 7 songs she said we would get before the album release... So I wonder when the other 4 are coming with less than a month left.

I'm a big steel drums fan! Not the biggest fan of his vocals but I can get over it. Always looking for more music incorporating steel drums. That's why I'll Never Know is one of my favorite Charli songs!

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. I didn't want to read any of the lyrics but I decided to see what ATRL was saying and I saw some... And I won't post it here but I have to say this: There is a song on Froot about a beef with Ellie Goulding! Like really, remember when they used to be friends and then Ellie got famous and Marina didn't.. and now I feel like not many people have been fans of either one long enough to know this stuff! Where did this friendship go!?
