Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights
Martin de Thura makes amazing videos. Honorable mention: James Blake - Limit to your love
Shakira - Did it again. The choreography<3
For the worst I nomitate every German schlager video ever. My friend and I stumbled over a schlager channel by accident and we just couldn't look away, it was like a car accident.

This one reminded me a LOT of Nicolas Winding Refn's first movies (the first 2 Pusher & Bleeder particularly), very similar style! Ever saw them?

My favorites:
Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes short film directed by Kahlil Joseph
The most beautiful video clip I ever saw, hands down!
The Shoes - Time To Dance directed by Daniel Wolfe
Ultra violent, Jake Gyllenhaal completely nailed it.
DJ Mehdi - Signatune directed by Romain Gavras
Because dude's gone too soon, RIP Mehdi.
Daft Punk - Da Funk directed by Spike Jonze
Most random clip EVER, love it.
XXYYXX - About You directed by VASH
SO hypnotizing & chill...

I anxiously waited for @ to create this topic after it was mentioned in the new music video releases one, but she never did & I'm really bored right now, sooo.
Here are some of my all time favourites (cba with least faves rn, will do them some other time).
NIN - Closer
Simultaneously very disturbing / creepy and really sexy (this era Trent Reznor could SO get it tbh). NSFW.
The Smashing Pumpkins - Stand Inside Your Love
Maybe a bit over the top but I love the whole ~b&w tragic love story thing.
The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
Very NSFW. Jonas Åkerlund's masterpiece tbh.
Blur - Coffee and TV
The cutest and also the saddest video clip EVAH. RIP little cartoon milk.
Pulp - This Is Hardcore
This one's really great in an almost kitschy way, love it! Also, awesome film noir pastiche.
Sigur Rós - Viðrar vel til loftárása
Simply one of the most beautiful and meaningful videos I've ever seen.
Arctic Monkeys - Suck It And See
Just visually stunning and very Lana Del Rey-ish imo, with all the Americana references and the crazy / toxic / intense relationship thing. NSFW-ish.
The Strokes - Someday
Because how could I not mention them tbh. Probably not even their best, but it's the most special one for me because ~dat nostalgia.
MOD NOTE: Please put all music videos UNDER A SPOILER

vanillaiceys liked a post in a topic by elllipsis in LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships
@@Rafael Ooh thanks! I'd completely forgotten about 'My Momma'.
This part is really interesting as well - My momma, she would fall right on top of you / If she'd ever saw you, she'd be smitten, too / I'll never take you home, I want you all for my own / Don't let my momma hear your pretty song. It's like she saw her mother as competition when it came to men; homegirl must have (had?) an Electra complex the size of a small planet.

Philomene liked a post in a topic by elllipsis in LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships
The fact that JG is (possibly maybe) about a stalkerish platonic obsession instead of an actual relationship doesn't make the song any less interesting for me; on the contrary, actually.
