Still waiting for Jordan to get back here after what I'm sure must be, in the least of terms, a stan overdose.

For me, none of them is best song.
…because all of them can be. 
 
Seriously through, whether it's the lyrics, mood, synthesizers, vocals production or guitar riffs, each song excels in area others may not. (disclaimer: maybe I'm just discovering how good albums work or that they can be cohesive)
 
Personally, though, I enjoy "I Blame Myself" the most b/c no matter the occasion I always like me some synthpop, even more so when there's obvious piano chord changes to be found. (this was my first favorite song)

I love it, I just feel that the nipple doesn't add anything to it. It's just as strong and fitting with the cropped iTunes version

I think my least favorite might be Boys. It's still good though. And I'm sure whether I love or hate Omanko and Kristine yet... I Blame Myself is my favorite.

VENUS

After 3 years of waiting and like 35 listens of the album (I literally played it all day), I can really say I've got this weird feeling I'm proud of someone I didn't even meet, and probably won't ever do either... But it's really that feeling, pride. It's been three years down the line struggling with labels, and gossip, and terms and conditions of the musical industry, that she can finally choose and work on something based on her own money earned by her own work... It's like, it's relatable.
I wish the sound was a little more polished, I do, and that the album consisted of 16-17 tracks, whether bonus tracks or not... But I'm not complaining.
It's been such a long wait, and it feels personal already. I started "following" this lady back when we both were 17. I even talked to her in her facebook, back in the day she replied to each and every comment...
I feel personally related to a couple of things that happened to her too, and her lyrics are crafted in the same way I'd craft them.
It feels really personal, it does.
It's an amazing album.
I'm so thankful to be able to finally hear it.

I' ve only listened through it once, and half the songs I couldn't give my full attention because of school ugh, but it's really a cool album. Like the 80s grunge thing is not my typical style, but Sky does it so well and I absolutely love it. Just bought the whole thing on iTunes!!
 
And can we talk about how perfect the timing is too?? Like this is the perfect Halloween album for real. With the eerie-ness of the the title track and the vintage 80s feel throughou,t it just totally works since I'm going be watching creepy 80s films here in a few days

Yes please. I actually just got used to buying songs on iTunes. (I've boughten all the singles from ARTPOP and a few non-album singles from other artists, and I bought You're Not the One. I draw the line at buying her whole album digitally when I KNOW I'm gonna buy a physical.
