Yes but she scrapped that concept when BB & AFFA leaked in June 2013. The album was written later in December/January (before she met Auerbach) I believe, when she moved into the Electric Lady studios. I really think she's going in a new direction with Honeymoon and I'm excited

Didn't Lana describe UV pre-Auerbach as more classic rock-inspired? We're getting a lot more orchestration in Honeymoon, so I doubt that will be the case.

Why does everyone associate repetitive choruses with laziness? The way I see it, she has moved away from simply telling stories to capturing a specific moment/idea/atmosphere. It doesn't have to be a bad thing.

What if she just added it to spice up the setlist since Honeymoon is not ready yet? Maybe she just liked the vibe it brought to the show. But why on earth would she re-record it when the song is fine as it is? Better yet, why the hell would she include a song that's already out there on a brand new body of work?

You have a very one-dimensional view of what it means to be an artist, and it's sad.

Why do people keep implying that Ultraviolence would have been more of a commercial success had Lana done more promotion? Lana went viral due to her sweet 'teenage nostalgia' vibe, something UV completely lacks. No amount of whoring out on TV could have saved that album.

I'd love music videos or a cute performance on a TV show, but only if she does it for artistic purposes. I'm not here for her begging her ass off for people to buy her album. It seems tacky and desperate. Lana is a reserved and introverted person, promo is not her thing.
