It's giving me a Live or Die tea
  2. The snippet does give me a Breaking Up Slowly 2.0 tea... hopefully I'm wrong
  3. Thank God, the Jack Antonoff Era of LDR is nearly over. I can't believe we endured nearly 3 years of that. Same vibes as when Trump lost the election. What a big relief. I'm feeling excited about her release for the first time in a while I KNOW this is going to be IT. And even if it's not, Mike is such a funny & entertaining guy I'm here for the messiness
  4. Exciting! The titles are beautiful and I'm so intrigued about this new co-writer. I'll give it about 9 hours until theories about one of these songs being Dealer start popping up
  5. Born To Die was the first song I heard from her and that totally captivated me... but I was still a bit on the fence. Back then a lot of BTD sounded very 'samey' (it really grew on me tho, absolutely love it now) What really made me a fan though was discovering her unreleased catalogue, namely Prom Song (Gone Wrong), Hollywood's Dead, Puppy Love, Damn You, etc. Wouldn't be able to pinpoint it to a specific song, since it was the whole experience of bop after bop after bop which made her a legend in my eyes
  6. 100%. A lot of these fantasies about what direction she should go into are just unrealistic & reductive, imo. I see so many posts in the vein of "i want a summery psychedelic ocean surf rock hazy psychedelic Shades of Cool meets The Blackest Day with Florida Kilos and Venice Bitch energy and breathtaking layered harmonised vocals". Like... First, those people are just setting up wild expectations for themselves and are bound to be disappointed when she does something totally different. Second, Lana's best records (UV and HM) were both fresh and different from what she did before. You could not sit there in 2012 and predict how UV would sound based on her existing records. Anyway I'm hopeful for BB exactly for this reason: the fact that BOZ said it was unexpected. It might turn out even better than some reductive 'West Coast 2.0' fantasy
  7. The way it's from 2019. ARREST whomever is spreading these lies
  8. If you want Dealer, listen to Dance Till We Die. They probably sound the same.
  9. This is the unreleased song from the Northern Exposure tour, finally leaked 7 years later
  10. I'm obsessed this felt like a spiritual reset. We need a new album from them ASAP.
  11. Fair enough. Personally I don't really have any expectations for Lana anymore- not to be too negative but I don't think she can reach or exceed her old peaks. The golden age of LDR is over. Of course I wish to be proven wrong by RCS but... not mad or surprised if it's a dud with a sloppy rollout
  12. Still don't get it. They just want more of the same? To me that just seems like chasing that initial 'high' we felt when listening to those records the first time. I think it's great she's moving on and evolving her sound. If I wanted an Ultraviolence sound I will just go listen to Ultraviolence. It still sounds fresh.
  13. I don't understand this line of thinking. If you miss the music she made before, just go stream it? It didn't go anywhere?
  14. Roses Bloom For You being the Yes To Heaven of RCS. I know y'all won't stop talking about this reject until release day. It's just a matter of time until someone posts a distorted muffled RBFY garageband remix on db**e and calls it a RCS leak.
  15. The only songs that I keep going back to a week later are White Dress, COCC and Tulsa Jesus Freak HM = UV > BTD > LFL > NFR > COCC
  16. I'm so excited to hear what Daddy Rick has to say. His interviews about Lana are always so fascinating.
