I honestly think that that post is more credible than the previous one we got. It’s going to be very easy to debunk, if it’s the case, when this era officially starts. Another mystery surrounding Lasso is her Insta post, before Ocean Blvd was out, where she said she was making « magic with Ian » and she « hoped we liked country ». Unless it’s been debunked or clarified, but I don’t think so Like who is this Ian guy?

To think that the Fly snippet yesterday, even though it’s almost certain Lana doesn’t sing on the song, was more eventful than today

Here are my « Best case scenarios » if there is indeed a soft launch today: 1- anything Lasso related, single, preorder, etc. Also, any new music would be welcomed; 2- Neil book preorder; scenario which I’m indifferent to: 3- NFR vinyl preorder. I already got the UO one and the standard CD, plus I never listen to my vinyls. 4- Fly single without Lana. 5- Merch. I never buy them. impossible scenario: 6- any vinyl preorder with a bonus track

I don’t remember which store is supposed to have the soft launch… I’d honestly laugh so hard if it was QUAVO’s for an imminent Fly single release without any Lana singing

I’d be surprised if there were more than two tracks that were mastered and finished (Tough and Fly Away, if it is indeed a Lana feat)

lol the way there are two lies (at least for me) in your post: I very much like Tough and love the trap tracks on OB, they switch up the pace very nicely

In one of her store, a « soft launch » is supposedly happening tomorrow, for an official release in the next weeks. The person that found out about it is the same one who leaked the Tough single cover. They didn’t know what it was for though.

The song got registered in March. She is credited as a songwriter, and Quavo also. So they probably sampled Lenny Kravitz’s chorus and they added some new lyrics.

Not necessarily. It could be a second Quavo track for August before the lead to LDR10 in September

I don’t know for sure, but I think a green vinyl was scheduled last year, it it got delayed. Some shop online had it in store for preorder. So it’s very plausible at this point edit: here’s the thread for it

It’s a crime, she removed Zodiac from OB to include the pastor interlude I never believed Zodiac could be a part of a country album, but from we heard from the Fenway Park song, an album where both of them coexist wouldn’t now be that far-fetched. Same! The only merch I would throw my money at would be the Neil book of their outtakes over the years

Yeah, me too what if I find odd is the « soft launch »part, which i didn’t know was a term usually used for a small group to preview something coming later for the GP. For merch, isn’t this unusual? anyways, I should keep telling myself that Lana never does the same thing twice with each era and there’s always something weird and unexpected coming our way with each pre-release. When VB was released, Zane Lowe asked her if it was for a bigger project and she confirmed that both MAC and VB were for an album. She even revealed the NFR title. Tough being part of Lasso is highly probable. I saw Take Me Home, Country Roads as a promo track for her Grammy campaign But hey, you never know with her. Even if I like her cover, I hope it’s not on Lasso.
