I hear you and feel the same. I'm sure we'll get that song on NFR: it fits the others sonically. Anyways, to the exception of RBFY (which she said was not gonna make LFL), she always released the songs we heard in the snippets. And the Life-is-Beautiful-Gate ain't the same: she got cut from the soundtrack and the decision wasn't hers to make.

Maybe Yosemite has a chance... It was rumoured that LFL was supposed to be titled BAR before the song leaked. This album is called NFR and is about a narcissitic artist. Sounds somehow familiar... Could be Lana's revenge over us for shitting all over her concept.

Exactly. And let’s not forget that we are all responsible, in a way, for the last-minute additions. We listened to BAR when it leaked and she was not happy about it. Nobody knows what happened behind closed doors, but I always thought that the direction of LFL changed after the leaks.

(Clearly not a ballad lol) Honestly, I don’t see a rap collab on NFR either, but if it ends up on the album, and not on another project, i’m Sure it won’t ruin the album. I admit I wasn’t sure about jack being involved, but he proved me wrong. So, relax guys, in jack we trust, we have no idea what is going on in the studio (to read that she should have released NFR one it was finished... was it? How would someone know that?)

About MGK and Jesse R... I don’t think these tracks will be on NFR, just like the work she did with Miles Kane and Jonathan Wilson didn’t end up on LFL. Rumours are already saying that the collab with MGK would be a diss track... who knows? But trust her, guys, she knows what she’s doing

Relax guys If there is a collab, it will probably be for his project, like the G-Eazy situation. You all forget too fast that we have a queen with good taste who puts out cohérent album (yes, I believe LFL was coherent).

He did a Q and A on his insta stories, a while back. He claimed he heard it and that some of the vocals weren't all that. I was under the impression he had a contact with someone working in the studio and that he had a chance to hear it, not necessarly that he had it. But I could be wrong, guys...

Yes. She said in one of her interviews that it was in her top 3 when it came to this record (source: http://lanadelrey.wikia.com/wiki/Tomorrow_Never_Came_(song).Must be because she never thought that that song was hers. Guess she was proud of the way it ended up.

Except for RBFY, all the snippets she shared made it to LFL. Ok, Summer Bummer changed, but not that much. And with RBFY, we knew from the start, from her caption, that it was a scrapped track... Problem was that it is such a good one thatit had us hoping she would change her mind back. She did. She said her 3 favorite tracks from LFL were Yosemite, Heroin and Tomorrow Never Came.

There might be soul on Earth who heard it: the reporter for Elle UK, who had listened to a bunch of songs from LFL, and said that it was the record of the summer. She might have heard Yosemite in that mix. Yosemite still has a chance of making it on NFR, I think.It would fit the album, sonically, from what we heard of the album and what we know of Yosemite. BAR and RBFY, not so much I'm afraid.

As weeks go by, I think that the two-single releases we got in September is a good indicator of the sound of NFR: it’s going to be a very yin and yang album, very « Gemini », with softer songs and more « classic Lana » like MAC or HTD or HIaB, and more guitar-driven ones or « weirder » sounds like VB or Cinnamon.

All the tracks we heard so far have either begun with a piano or guitar. Not so sure if RBFY fits with the whole atmosphere of NFR. If it does, i’d Be more than happy, but that track is very spring to me and we are headed for a fall-winter album apparently

HTD could have guitars yes. HIaB : don’t think so. We already heard 1 min and a half of it and it is a piano-voice track apparently.

Things need to cool down a bit before releasing a single... Lana and her team control very much the interviews, that's for sure, but if she had released a song like 2 days after the big feud, there are chances that someone interviewing her could have mentioned it to have her "exclusive answer" on the matter (again, a bit unlikely since she only does interviews with Annie Mac and Zane Lowe on the radio and they know that some topics are off the table). Or even if she didn't have an interview with the song, the feud could "overshadow" the new song... I know it's really stupid, but that's how showbiz works, unfortunately. maybe we won't get one this time around? Anyways, can't wait to have a release date, a tracklisting and an album cover!

The Blackest Day is sublime, as if her pain is chanting to her. Honeymoon's harmonies sound like a instrument on its own, mixing with the violins. These two are the ones that popped into my head, but I'm sure many more will come later on!

I was wondering the same thing. Part of me craves something new and part of me wishes the next single to be closer to the album release. The snippets to HIaB and HTD were taken down from her Insta. But the Cinnamon one is still up. Maybe it’s because we’re gonna get that song? Maybe interscope would like a more « radio-friendly » single ? One thing’s for sure: her feud with AB made it clear that we were not gonna get a new single THAT week lol.

Funny that you’re mentioning that Cinnamon might not have been ready for release yet because I was thinking that it might be one of the last one she just finished, a bit like she did with White Mustang and Change, that were added late in the mix and that she keeps posting snippets of because she was proud of them. Her snippets of Cinnamon felt like that, like she had just finished them and was so damn proud.
