Based on the two singles and how BoZ described the album, the theme seems to be « what’s the worst that could happen to a girl who’s already hurt? » So, I think the Grants will be about the « first hurt » and how it lead her to failed relationships (from the title track to A&W at least)

At the moment, Taco Truck is the track I’m most curious about, if only for the VB sampling. Based on title alone, Paris Texas is the one I’m most curious about (although it never really is my fave out of the bunch, just like Dance Til We Die was the title I loved the most on the cocc tracklist) instead of a full album leak, I wish we had 30-second snippets / previews from some unknown streaming / buying site to get excited about… (nobody ever felt bad about listening to those)

Exactly personally, I listened to the COCC leak since it was in HQ (and felt so bad afterwards that I bought the boxset from her store ). With BB, Amazon was selling it a week before so I bought one legally. I know it’s going to be tough coming here with pages and pages of : when the album does leak. Still not sure if I’ll fight the urge to listen to leaks; as long as it’s not LQ like the NFR-cassette girl saga.

Apple Music is having some glitches: all of the track names appear in my library… except for A&W that got « renamed » track 4 for over a week now.

Although I like what I heard with the Candy Necklace snippet, it is just 10 seconds. Being so short, I almost never listen to it (feels a bit alienating to listen to it in repeat). Arcadia on the other hand was way longer and just like you, I listened to it way too often before release Same with Tulsa Jesus Freak. I love that we don’t have anything (or almost nothing) audio wise for this album. And I must say that I am very surprised that the album didn’t already leak (watch it be through an official release, with a CD sent too early once again )

Still don’t know how Fingertips sounds tbh I hate tagged snippets: I never hear anything of the song and only hear the damn tag Plus it was a ten-second snippet? I need a bit longer than that to have an idea of what the song sounds like. The Candy Necklace one is clearer but is so an short… Can’t wait for this album to come out.

If she « performs » that song live, I mean

yep to be fair, festival tours have been pretty much « greatest hits » shows for almost a decade now. BTD songs are inevitable… but she still should switch it up a bit.

If I remember correctly, she never completed the NFR tour due to COVID. I wonder if she’ll complete that part of it (probably not) or just stick to festivals

I’m very curious about Hollywood Bowl: is it not only a Zach Dawes produced track but I guess it references one of her best (if not the best) live performance of her career.

I didn’t hate Sean at first: he was showing up for her, on tour, and they seemed to make a great pair, he was « caring » about her and such. But as time went by and people found out some of his opinions or actions, the least I liked him. Anyways, I’m usually pretty much neutral about her BF: it’s her life and we know nothing of these dudes. The only one I never cared for was the actor she dated before Sean (don’t even remember his name), I didn’t find him attractive at all anyways, I hope this album helped her close the « Sean chapter » of her love life.

Anyone else kinda feels bad for Clay, Mike Hermosa (who she supposedly dated - my fave BF of hers BTW, what a cute daddy) knowing that pretty much all of the love songs she wrote since COCC were about Sean? That new insight we got on A&W with the new lyrics, the billboard in Tulsa… she clearly is pissed at the cop (and probably not over him completely) Clay, Mike and all kinda feel like rebounds

I’m not sure I read it as « this art is part of the album art and is original I.e. never been used before this album » rather than « this was the first album art before it got scrapped »

I really think that all the tracks have some sort of sample The title track, at the end, reminds me a lot of the end of Dance Til We Die, A&W samples NFR, Taco Truck also… But yeah, I can’t wait to hear any of the songs where samples are more « proéminent » A collab would be a good way to go for a next single
