I've said it before but I think she just doesn't wanna hear anyone's opinions about it. She said it's her story and that is very personal to her, so if that's the case, she's not wanting to be on socials bc she's gonna see shit she's not wanting to. She might have other reasons but it just makes sense to me. Maybe her therapist told her to stay off socials for a few weeks until after the album rollout is done and over with, unless she wants to give social control to her management and we know what a shit show that would be

Do you think Lana could happen if she debut with BTD now?
American Whore replied to palemoonbaby's topic in Lana Thoughts
Idk, bc without her, we'd be missing a lot of music and a lot of music would be very different. I think she'd do well enough but some of those old tracks wouldn't be able to be released today just bc of the lyrics, somebody would get offended and think they need to cancel her and whatnot -
Unidentified Flying Bill (ft. Barrie James O'Neill)

This song matches the vibe with Summerwine so much ugh. The lyrics are *chef's kiss* -
Idk if I made this post before, but something I wanted to add to this thread. The line about "writing in blood on your walls" changes, at first it's "on my walls", but then she changes it to "on your walls" and this line has multiple meanings. "My pen don't work in my notepad" She journals and her therapist or sister or someone has coached her to journal her feelings but it doesn't work. She has to write things on the wall for herself, and it's so serious, she needs to write it in blood because blood stains and blood is bright red. She also then flips it, that she needs to write her message and her feelings on YOUR walls because nobody is understanding her points and what she's saying. I feel like the way it ended NFR reflected what she felt last year and even this year, about the interviewers not understanding her and the reviewers not understanding her lyrics. She's also changing it from "in my notepad" to "don't look good in my pad". She's noticing that at first, she couldn't write for herself, but now, when she's trying to write to appeal to other people, it still doesn't fucking work and she doesn't write as beautifully as she does when she's writing for herself. It's a very interesting lyrical change

I think she's made too many commitments to other things. Maybe working with more producers and working on her book/spoken word album, the covers album, and then of course a possible follow up to BB. I think at this point with the pandemic, she's using the time to work in the studio more and isn't too concerned for the tours like she usually would be. I don't think she's wanting to retire from touring at all-- she sells out every show but i think she just doesn't have time for it. She's just simply too busy
