Omg I can't believe I'm just now seeing this. I say wait. There's been rumors of a new Switch, like a Switch successor coming later this year or early next year. Unless your Switch Lite is broken or you want to play on your TV, don't upgrade, WAIT IT OUT. Save the money and get the next Switch when it comes out because we're very late in the current Nintendo/Switch generation, it's inevitable and with the leaks we've been hearing lately... yeah, just wait it out, you'll be happier waiting I think But to answer your question - I upgraded close to when they first came out from my original Switch to the OLED because honestly I ordered one on Amazon for my bf for Christmas 2021 but thought it was going to be late so I went and got one from Gamestop to have it in time and ended up keeping the extra one for myself and I've not had any screen burn in. Since then, I've put over 250 hours into Pokemon Sword, 70 into Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, over 100 into Pokemon Violet without issues. The tech today is a bit different from how it used to be. It still can get burn in but it's not nearly as common unless you're constantly playing 24/7 and never letting the screen refresh or you're leaving your Switch screen on intentionally on a pause menu or when you aren't playing (and you won't.) As for the battery, I haven't really tried timing it but usually my bf gets somewhere around 6-8 hours before he wants to charge it up but idk where he lets the battery get to before he starts charging it. Mine will last mostly all day, but I play mine in shorter periods, so an hour here and there sometimes two, so it'll last longer that way. If the leaks about a new console doesn't worry you and you want a bigger screen, I say go for it. But if you're reading into what we've been told by leakers this year and late last year, a new model/generation is upon us and it'd be a little late to get a Switch OLED imo. @baddisease

i'm not angry or upset, i'm just tired of us being teased nonstop by the same 4 people and everyone treating those same people like royalty is all. it's just ironic is all when we cherry pick whose ass we kiss and who we give shit to. we gave eclipse shit constantly when he was leaking stuff. that's why he stopped! he probably has the album but is he coming around teasing lines of lyrics or posting snippets and whatnot? nope he's staying to himself. and good for him. sometimes he'll come talk and make comments and stuff but that's that.

it's about protecting the source. the person who obtained the album originally. could be someone who stole the laptop, could be someone who works in the industry. it could be anyone really. someone on her team, someone who works for apple music or spotify or whichever companies that get the album for printing. a lot of these "insiders" pay money to have the album early from these people. i'm not saying floridakilos did that or boz really but "insiders" do this all the time. people sell songs, sessions, demos on instagram and other forums and twitter. sometimes it's a group of people too

it's not about lana, it's about protecting the source. remember that. the insider leaker culture is a lot different than a lot you think. that's all i have to say.

listen i love you but like.... you've been teasing us for the last week with the same lyric teases, you leaked the final lyric on the album, you've been blue balling us all week. we get it you have the album but at this point either leak it or don't. teasing and teasing is so annoying. just like when snippets of unreleased shit get posted and all we have for 3 years is "it's just my dark cityyyy" and that's it. if you don't want to leak it, send it to someone who will so we can get this over with. it's so annoying. when i leaked the dreamgirl sessions, people were drip feeding everyone with a lil stem here and there so i leaked the whole damn session with stems and instrumentals because it's annoying being teased for weeks on end. like we get it you have it but what's the point in teasing for days on end? ffs
