it’s making me really sad how much people seem to dislike it. it’s everything I was hoping for and more, just in time for summer, and sounds like the best songs in the top 40 on radio at the moment (I.e. Mabel’s Don’t Call Me Up)

I can still remember the day I fell in love with her, the way I became so obsessed with her singles and made all my friends discover her. I remember the day she posted a snippet of Training Wheels, then the day the song was leaked on YouTube, then when Melanie posted the album herself on SoundCloud a day before, the day the album was released, and everything afterwards. Melanie has been such an inspiration and overall an incredible artist. She has the mind of a GENIUS, and I love her so much. After the rape allegations I became very scared of saying I was a big fan because umm everyone hated her JGJDJ but man... I love her so much

This makes me so sad. It's obvious how much she cares about this song and how hard she fought. Some people are just never happy. I love both this and Track 10, and am really excited to hear what else she has in store for us. It has to be heartbreaking as an artist to have things leaked, fight for them to be released and then still be dragged by your fans. I can't think of any other fan base that's this toxic to the artist they support.
