I meaannn I do agree with that caption

I’m not sure what’s the discussion about Jack I ain’t reading five pages but he’s production really sounds the same all the time. I mean the drums from chemtrails make their return on dyk and the beats on A&w sounds just like cinnamon. You can tell a Jack song by some key instruments and that sucks. Also his beats sounds just like a teenager making music on GarageBand. I mean just compare his beats to summer bummer. As much as I love this song, I love it because of the structure, story and lyrics and i wish it was produced by someone different because when I hear those tiny sounding beats I can’t help but lost all my hype on Lana’s amazing vision and artistry. I was pro Jack back on nfr because he really does know how to compose a song but on the other hand his production… he was fine for an album but the more I hear his sound I get more annoyed at it.

Don’t know if it’s been discussed before as the site was crashed for me but lots of people say that jimmy is jim from uv and I don’t really agree with that. Jack called Lana jimmy on a previous insta post and Lana singing about a younger lizzy seems to make the most sense to me. First of all jim from uv is literally a cult leader so it wouldn’t make sense when her mom finds out he’s doing drugs☠️ he is scarier than that. But if jimmy is Lana and Patricia founds out lizzy is doing drugs it would tie the boarding school era of her and also why she’s fucking up big time.

Okay but why does this song get so fucking loud when it switches to jimmy part😭 I have to turn down my volume by three steps every time.

What I hate about them is that they CAN do a campaign with little effort from Lana and they never do. Like you can hire photographers, illustrators, directors and make them do visuals WITHOUT including Lana and just scenery that suits the music; Lana’s music is enough cinematic to afford that. Besides that being a fan for almost 6 years now, they can never get their shit together. I remember having this crisis on the greatest/fiily and white dress releases and I’m sure there is many other examples.

Just watching the glambot slow-mo videos and I just love how Lana is always so fucking nice to people. Most celebs don’t even great the guy shooting whereas Lana smiles interacts and asks him how he is.

It’s so weird to see the little bump on her nose is back (love it) and it’s been just fillers all these years. I was so fucking sure she had two rhinoplasties (one going from Lizzy to Lana and one going from 2011 to 2012) but im starting to question myself.

Honestly she shouldn’t have opened her acc that often. For a while after she closed ldr and switched to hm the comment section was beautiful, thoughtful and actually related to the posts and Lana was interacting happily too. I especially loved it when she wrote personal stuff in long paragraphs and fans would read and comprehend and reply, really showed the bonding.

I’ll forever wonder what happened to her voice from summer 2019 to now. Girlie went from struggling with doin time high notes to not being able to sing shades of cool to suddenly being able to record songs like white dress. Did she have surgery or vocal training or sth?

I hate to admit it but this! I do get the intention behind the concept and it’s beautiful but it’s just a bad execution. It’s so noticeably that it’s just a random bts photo that someone snapped and they didn’t even try to bother fixing from the weird contrast to the eye tiring props. I’m pretty sure that the reason I love listening to bb is the cover and the reason I’m not listening chemtrails is also the cover.

I was pretty surprised to see that Neil actually shot those photos for lana, I thought they were just random Neil pics that Lana liked (which is totally fine). Makes me reassured that she specifically wanted the ocean aesthetic for the album.

This is my ideal set list for the festivals she does in summer. They contain the general hits and fun songs and purpose the “Lana Del Rey” image rather than promoting the latest records. This is also why I enjoy when she references modern stuff in her music whether it’s masks, quarantine, iPad, nuclear tensions or whatever. I know she’s a big referencer of the past so when she uses modern stuff people thinks she breaks character and don’t like it when she does but she’s also a modern artist whose music is going to live ahead of her time and will be looked at from tens of years ahead.

I was listening to the Zane lowe interview below her page on Apple Music and at the end it plays Venice bitch the single version and to my surprise it sounds so much more wider and spacier then the album one????? If jack actually had the ability to produce like this then why do nfr sound so much cramped up?

Someone a few pages back said the title track sounds gorgeous with spatial audio so I just checked and it totally does! I think it’s her first song to actually support Dolby atmos so that’s why. Hope the whole album comes in this format!

Honestly I can’t really point it but ever since bb the tone of her sounds uv to me. Maybe it’s the use of deeper register and also like singing a bit cursivish (?) on the higher notes?

I just listened the dark city snippet again since a person said it sounds recent a few answers up and I agree! Tho her voice has been sounding kinda uvish lately to me so it’s hard to differentiate. I also have the same confusion every time I listen iyldwm. Her vocals sound too new to be uv but too uv to be new? edit: also the dark city production sound too much like drews?

I haven’t noticed how flat jacks production was until I got decent headphones and I was shocked when yosetime with like 3 instruments sounded fuller than Tulsa or wild at heart☠️ I can’t remember if there’s a song on this album where jack is the solo producer which now gives me anxiety that I will irk every time I switch from drew one to jack one.

I didn’t really wanna chime in but this right here just shows dw is faking. Everybody here figured out that the “track list is false” the moment they saw it based on the writing credits and the dw didn’t go onto explaining why it’s false shows that they either don’t have info and are just making good takes or have little info.

Reading the lyrics and this is by far one of the most saddest Lana songs ever. Different from the days of uv and hm and the continuation of the questioning of fame and public eye. She knows people firstly judge her by her looks, she understood they won’t love her when her looks are gone and she’s no longer “young and beautiful”. And to me that’s sadder than a past relationship because she knows she can’t fix thousands of people’s opinion and she can’t ignore them either. Her only wish to be understood by her soul and her heart and she knows that’s just not happening. Also the don’t forget me to me feels like it’s directed to the fans. Public may have let her down but she hopes we don’t ever forget her (like the tunnel under the ocean blvd).
