I actually like chemtrails’ soundscape but jacks production is just way too bland and too quiet behind Lana’s vocals. This seems like the case with the other artists he works too, it’s his productions problem.

I feel like the BLM line in Text Book gets unnecessary hate, what I see from that line is she was at the protest, screaming pride, something she didn’t want for her father. In the line “All the things I could want for him I screamed for them” she is more focused on that she doesn’t want pride for her father, and not that she screamed at the protest. Also I was genuinely upset that she was so late to post about the incident last year and wasn’t really using her platform for it but I’m glad that she used that lyric in the song, thousands of people will listen it and remember the tragedy.

Yeah the choruses are most definitely playback, also the second part of the outro. I don’t understand why they do that I really wanted to hear Lana live after a whole year.

Listening the interlude with a big speaker SLAPS! I am really excited for BB and I love the storytelling direction it’s going but I want something like the interlude for LDR9 (and a big promotional era to break the image that she only makes slow songs)

As much as I want her to have one last big era where she fly rockets the charts this seems like the road she is going to take and it’s the best for her. Honestly her life is very iconic and she’s one of the most interesting people I’ve seen. Crazy to thing that she come out very struggling only to release the most influential album of the decade to get back into her shell to continue her art, not her career.

One thing I love about lanas albums are the storyline (Though I’m not a huge fan of COCC that album has one of the best and cohesive storylines of a Lana album) but I’m not sure how it’s gonna turn out this time with almost half of the album being unreleased from past.

While I’m not a huge Rick fan his piano/acoustic work with Lana is incredible and cinematic, color blue, fine China, bartender and cherry blossom are a few crossing my mind. I really do hope she does more of these cinematic sounds cause while I loved the three singles lyrically, I though they were a bit too dull and could’ve used a bit more spice.

See stuff like this makes me so frustrated. She seems so tired of her fame, fanbase, media and everything yet she still doesn’t take a hiatus. If she really wants to put out music THAT much then just release she should just release it whenever she is ready and the album is done. Edit: I’m not sure what’s her contract with interscope is but she could just drop them and go free?
