2021 was a really decent year for film and even though I am still making my way through a lot of the films that released late in the year, there are a few I absolutely adored and loved and truly resonated with. I'm just making this topic for anybody to talk about films released in 2021 and which ones you loved/hated/etc. I'll share some of my own but I'm curious what you thought of 2021 in film especially compared to 2020 and what you expect from 2022~~~~~ Some of my favorite films of 2021 (in no order) include: The Killing of Two Lovers // Minari // Nomadland The Father // Quo Vadis, Aida? // Wolfwalkers Summer of Soul // Judas and the Black Messiah Annette // Titane // Pig // The Green Knight Spencer // The Lost Daughter // Lamb Any films y'all liked in particular ?

I don’t know if this has yet been discussed, but apparently there exists a composition by Greg Abate Quartet called ‘Buddy’s Rendezvous’ I wonder if there are credits for the song available yet to see if it’s an adaptation of his composition. And it’s even more confusing cause it could make Lana’s version a cover of an adaptation of an original song that has yet to be released ?
