  1. Well, I think season 3 has surpassed the others in terms of it's ability to captivate, but truly, nothing will ever top season 1 for me. The plot of that one was soooo genius. Season 2 was great but had too many plot holes and opened up too many stories that it wasn't able to close. The only thing I want from s4 is a carnival theme (even before those fake promo pics). Kinda sucks that Lange won't be the main role but IIRC she wasn't listed as the main role in s1 right? Yet she had a major role... So if her participation is anything like s1, I imagine it'll be just fine. For me: Murder House > Coven > Asylum
  2. Overall rating: Hmm, maybe a 9/10 First impression: Literally HATED this at first listen and thought it was the weirdest shit ever. AKA is pretty different to most people at first listen that I've talked to, though. Impression now: Love it. I can't say it's my favourite off of AKA, in fact, it's one of my least favourites (that's not saying much since AKA is close to perfect), but it's super unique and has something special to it that probably no song will ever be able to replicate. iTunes plays: Too lazy to open iTunes and check tbh probably very few in comparison to the rest of AKA. I also have a burned copy of AKA that I listen to much more often as opposed to iTunes. Songs I play along with it: TBH all the other weird shit like Catch N Release, although I typically only listen to album songs as part of the albums, so. What I like about it: Tell me that you've ever heard anything like it... Every song on AKA has something unique to it, and that applies to Mermaid Motel more than the majority of the other AKA tracks. It's always nice to see Lana delve into different genres, and she does it perfectly on MM, and just AKA in general. What I dislike about it: Mmm, like I said initially, it's strange going from Lana's common classical sound to this, but anyway, AKA grew on me so fast there's very little things I dislike about any of the songs. However, again, it's among my least favourite from AKA, but only because I deem the others better. Memories I associate with this song: Well, I play music obsessively while playing video games, and it's to the point where I can remember what game I was playing and where I was in that game while a particular song was playing (almost every song I frequently listen to). I remember, I was playing Borderlands and I was at Zombie Island fighting zombies, JFC I don't know how I remember that shit that was like a year ago. And I had a fucked up AKA tracklist and FKP2 and MM were together and my sister was like "WTF are those songs Lana?" and I was like "yeah " because at the time I hated FKP2 and MM, as those two (plus OSCYS) were the last of AKA to grow on me. Colors/images that come to mind: Definitely something with a "dark mood" kinda, i.e. black or deep purple. Favorite lyrics: The chorus is too flawless: "You call me lavender, you call me sunshine..." or "God bless you... and God bless me!" Interpretation: I wish I could understand this song. This song makes me feel: I get a sense of like demonic shit when I listen to this lmao, probably 'cause of the imagery of the video... Favorite part of the song: Isn't it KINDA the same thing as favourite lyrics? Well for me it is, because my answer would have to be the chorus again; just how the mood shifts so drastically.
  3. Trolling or severely misinformed I guess? Those are highly unlikely. For example, Jonah is not by Lana but rather Elizabeth C. Grant if I remember correctly. Not our girl. Those tracks are actually so random, it's strange. It's a few leaked, rumoured, and unleaked titles as well as some titles I've never heard of.
  4. because it's the best and deserves to win of these 3

Cool, cool! So I assumed with the Night Versions she was going for like a darker production almost, but it looks like it literally means something fit to listen to at night i.e. calmer and more relaxed in terms of production Right?
  7. Gurl I feel you I voted the same Save Kill Kill you bitches
  8. I feel like it's on purpose? I dunno, seems like it was mixed that way with intent. Makes it sound kinda cohesive (and PMIAM at the start of Smarty sounds flawless tbh). By the way, I don't think the 320 kbps you have is real. Don't quote me, but I think we can only confirm 256 is real because that's iTunes quality; I'm pretty sure we haven't confirmed if any higher qualities i.e. from the few physical copies that exist have been uploaded. I very well could be wrong though.
  9. I thought that was the proper version of AKA
  10. guys don't do this to my baby Kill Kill

    Song vs. Song

Television Heaven (wit uuuu) vs Maha Maha v1
  13. Edit: I'll actually contribute .. Overall rating: 10/10, would bang. First impression: Well, I used to hate this song along with Million Dollar Man and Carmen, but MDM and OTTR are among my favourites off the album now (I couldn't pick one; they're all my favourites except Carmen, which I still dislike). Impression now: Still love it. Obviously the wow factor has worn off, but I love it nonetheless. iTunes plays: Well, just ripped all my albums in lossless literally a few days ago, so not many plays, I'm sure. Songs I play along with it: Eh, I don't mess around with it in playlists that often. I like Born To Die to precede it and then have Blue Jeans follow it. What I like about it: As others have mentioned, the development of the lyrics and also how the song is constructed. Just the overall genius of it. What I dislike about it: Nothing. Memories I associate with this song: Driving in the car, playing it, and falling in love with it and Million Dollar Man. Colors/images that come to mind: The colours on the single cover i.e. green and gold but also orange or red. Favorite lyrics: SAYZE IT FEELS LIKE HEAVEN TO HIM Interpretation: She's a wild bitch wit her crazy boyfriend
  14. Raise Me Up and Mermaid Motel!
  15. Okay, this has probably been answered before, but I couldn't find it, so why is Resistance registered under a random album from 1993 on HFA? Here's the album: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Slam-The-Complete-Studs-Collection-Suburban/dp/B001HEKKFS (note: it's labelled as "Resistor" on the album.) Is it possible it's a cover or something? And why is it often stated that Resistance isn't in anyone's hands? (Just out of curiosity).
  16. Can someone send it to me please Can't buy from iTunes right now
  17. Brite Lites and Raise Me Up (sorry but I've always found it a little overrated). AKA is perfect though, so I love them all.
  18. Ugh, a fake mixtape made by someone that is even sold on eBay. No idea how it got so popular.

Bought the Bikini Daze EP It's really good. XXX 88 and Never Wanna know are fantastic (what's up with the strange capitalization in NWK though?) I'm having a hard time liking Pilgrim and Maiden, but the rest is all great. Waste of Time is still my favourite
