  1. look it up, you'll probably be able to figure out where that originated from, because i don't really know lol
  2. i'm sure she was talking about the song lmfao
  3. Dark Angel

    Song vs. Song

    money hunny vs. super movie
  4. no, i mean the very new members... i just feel like some of them are a little... peculiar lol idk if i'm the only one who feels this way
  5. does anybody else remember when the cotcc pre-release thread got extremely chaotic and messy and lustforlife kept posting gifs of rats and elle had to lock the thread? this thread right now is reminding me of that
  6. is it just me or have all of the new users on this website as of lately been so fucking weird
  7. i'm literally 315 years old and i smell fantastic, how would you explain that?
  8. so what if she is? do you have a problem with senior citizens? what's wrong with being older? do you feel differently about men who are senior citizens? hmm?
  9. lanaboards stop acting a certain way towards women over the age of 30 challenge honestly all of the hatred towards nikki lane on this website is definitely misogynistic at some level, you can't convince me otherwise
  10. is is very random but does anybody know what the actual year of crooked cop is? because i have a feeling it's not 2007, maybe @cartoon eyes @HeadBitch would know?
  11. so now we wait for eclipse's tea spills...
  12. that would be quite a difficult task so we'll see
  13. remember that just because one person says something is boring, doesn't mean you'll feel that way about it once you eventually hear it
  14. @BlackoutZone any info on the "cali is hot" song from 2016? such as its real title?
  15. is it true that lyrics from blizzard are actually referencing lana's deep belief in the outlandish conspiracy theory that the moon is actually a hologram? ("i went out shopping and planned to go to all them vintage stores, then i got tired and ended up in some lame department store, and that's okay 'cause i found a really cool belt, and")
  16. they needed to distract us from the clownery of the anime stan it's okay guys
  17. no, she was just cottagecore before it was cool
  18. considering what's the most popular music out right now, and what's appealing to a lot of people, i'm HAPPY that lana is not making music that "appeals to a lot of people" the state of popular music is abysmal right now, at this point i'm just waiting for it to hit rock bottom so we can shift back to people making actual good music again
  19. i don't know if anyone has brought this up but the trash magic demo with the different verses is real, there's an earlier version that flows a lot better, lana and steven mertens probably recorded the chorus and the versions at different times for the second demo but they were likely intended to go together https://krakenfiles.com/view/UKMFWIozJj/file.html
  20. if you're so invested into why ocean boulevard didn't show up at the top of her spotify page, it's likely because songs like summertime sadness, and young and beautiful will always have way more streams at any given time because they're known by the GP, casual listeners, etc. ocean boulevard may only be listened to by actual fans it shouldn't matter if it only gets 500 streams a day, there's no reason to hate on her like this, she's in a great spot of her career, she has millions of fans, but also has the ability to do whatever she wants with her work, basically, not many artists can say that, she doesn't release garbage, soulless stream-grabs for tiktok, she hasn't gone towards a mainstream sound just to succeed on the charts, we should be happy about that everyday
  21. why do we care so much about whether or not she charts? i understand wanting her to be successful, but worrying so much about whether or not she's going to outshined by another artist is going to steal away your enjoyment of the album and its release, lana's music will stand the test of time and whoever's releasing right now likely will not, born to die is still charting on the billboard top 200 after 11 years, that shows that she's going to have a long-lasting impact and will be enjoyed by future generations, she'll be like nirvana, in a way, because she'll always be popular and culturally relevant, we should just enjoy the music and acknowledge the fact that regardless of how she charts, she's still wildly popular, even if she weren't popular, it doesn't make her music less quality, there's artists out there who make some of the greatest music you could imagine but they only have 1,000 monthly listeners on spotify
