  1. considering how mysterious certain aspects of AKA are, to this day, i think it's fair to say that we really don't have any concrete outtakes from it, i think the most likely outtakes would be jimmy gnecco and get drunk, especially since there's a confirmed david kahne version of jimmy gnecco, but we can't say for certain whether or not that was recorded for AKA or just for fun, it seems like they kept working together during 2008 and 2009, but that was either for fun, or for a possible 2nd album, even though AKA wasn't even out yet, some have speculated that other 2007 songs, especially those produced by steven mertens, such as trash magic, wayamaya, or pin up galore could be AKA outtakes, but it's all just speculation at the end of the day, because we don't know her intentions with those songs, or if any of those have david kahne versions
  2. i just think of hot peppers, so maybe something to do with being "hot" or "spicy", so something passionate or intense?
  3. but it was scrobbled with the grandfathers title, and we discovered the grandfather scrobble before we found out that it's (most likely) legit
  4. but nikki lane isn't properly featured on breaking up slowly to begin with, that's why ajayii thought she was miley cyrus or lana doing a very different voice
  5. that rick james sample has to be one of the most iconic samples... it's honestly hilarious that it's sampled on so many tracks but it works so well, it doesn't get old, i love how it was used in the second verse of without you
  6. peppers is supposedly the track featuring tommy genesis, it looks like it would fit on the blurry tracklist...
  7. kintsugi is actually a very enigmatic spirit who has inhabited this earth, here to please the eager fans of musicians, for generations! legend has it that he spilled the tea on beethoven's most iconic releases to fans in the 1800s before they were known to the public!
  8. you better start campaigning for worst taste as well!
  9. i just remembered that lana had a poem called "my father told me if i went slowly i'd be safe - but he was wrong" and it really reminds me of the grandfather title, i wonder if we'll ever know what that poem is, assuming she didn't lose it completely from the theft, it seems like the themes of family have been in her art for a while now, it's fascinating to see that
  10. when i was 11 i once watched this speedpaint with this song that i really liked but i never could figure out what it was called or who it was by, a little while ago i really tried to figure out what that song was, because i remember a few lyrics, but unfortunately, i didn't find anything
  11. maybe his version was an early mix of sorts? perhaps he just really liked it and decided to upload it, it's interesting to think that the album version of lolita could've originally had those elements from the first demo, i think the demo versions are so much better than what we have on the album, it's a bit of a shame, honestly
  12. i may be wrong but it might've been soundcloud?
