it may not make a lot of sense, but every song off of AKA is the best song off of AKA

greenwich has a lyric which still confuses fans to this day... "diamond horseshoe wedding ring and the...?" i feel like she's saying "tile aisle", if she really is saying "tile aisle", i feel like she could be talking about walking down the aisle (which would make sense since she mentions a wedding ring) maybe the venue or building has tiles on the walls or the floor? i just think it's a stretch to say she's saying "tiara" but it's still hard to tell for certain, maybe we'll finally put this mystery to rest when greenwich acid leaks....

something that i noticed is a little detail in the following lyrics "call him up, come into my bedroom, ended up, we fuck on the hotel floor", notice how she first mentions her bedroom, which would coincide with her home in rosemead, afterwards the hotel floor, which would coincide with the ramada, i feel like this lyric, especially with that little detail, can be interpreted in different ways, perhaps she's describing how when she's with somebody new, they get this picture-perfect, calm, matured image of her, but later on, they learn more of her struggles and secrets, that's a very metaphorical take on it, but i feel like this song is more deep and complex than we think

people here are losing their shit over lana singing about her family as if songs like there's nothing to be sorry about, my momma, aviation, old money, motel 6, radio, ride, cola, is this happiness, etc. all songs that mention or discuss her family, especially her dad...

i'm a margaret truther, i just know it's going to be a cute, bombastic track which will be hated at first, but will receive her flowers later on when people realize it's a banger

honestly this is so wholesome lana's dad is such an icon also, i love the track titles for this album, they're gorgeous

a lot of people say that "into dust" is a very sad song, but i personally don't think it's sad at all, obviously we all interpret music in our own ways, but to me, into dust is peaceful, yet eerie, if anything, but i love that song, it really is one of their best songs on that note, i don't interpret "fade into you" as sad either, it does feel melancholic, but i feel like there's a difference between something being sad and melancholic, oh say can you see is melancholic, but it's certainly not sad, fade into you sounds like a happy, sunny, summer day to me, but lyrically, i can see how people find it to be sad some mazzy star songs that i feel like are more outwardly "sad" to me are "before i sleep" and "sparrow", before i sleep makes me feel quite nostalgic, nostalgic in the way that disrupts your soul a little bit, because it reminds you of distant memories of younger, simpler days, that you know you can't ever go back to, but you're going to try so hard to grasp it inside of your soul, sparrow is a melancholic track, it's pretty, mellow, and gentle, so i guess it tugs at your heartstrings a little more

this would be especially camp considering the fact that the lyric is wrong (i'm a gangster action king truther!)
