she's noted britney spears as one of her influences in the past, such as on her old myspace page and in interviews.

i usually skip this song when it comes up in my shuffle but last night i decided to listen to it and it's such a cute song, sometimes it feels as if this song doesn't even exist because nobody ever talks about it. the one thing that bothers me a little bit is "dripping on your windscreen, i can't get a bite" ??? what does that mean lol

i'm really just a casual gaga listener so i really don't come here often, but... i don't really understand the point of delaying/postponing album releases during this time? i get that there is a literal pandemic going on right now and it's a really big deal and serious matter, but that results in many people bored at home, or needing an escape to help them get through such an uncertain and nervous time. so why not release the album now? i really don't think it's going to impact sales that much, it's not like in the past where you had to physically go to the store to buy the record to support an artist. nowadays most people buy things digitally or stream on spotify, and she can promote through social media very easily. and also i gurantee you guys that it will leak, if not soon, then before the album drops.

well, it has been a little over a year and i'd say my tastes have changed and shifted quite a bit so i'm going to do an update on this. here's what i would say are my true, least favorite lana songs with a little commentary: betty boop boop - i don't really mind the lyricism but the production is so awful, and the vocal delivery is especially bad, even for a homemade demo. this song does have potential despite it all. i'd be curious to see a final version produced by princess superstar because it really fits in with her kooky and fun style. damn you - cheap autotune and cheap piano does not mix. i adore her use of the autotune in "birds of a feather" but here it's so bad, alongside the cheap production. i will say that the final version snippet sounds a lot better so there is hope! jealous girl - i hate it. i don't know why, but it's insufferable. lucky ones - i don't dislike it, i have it in my itunes, but i never listen to it, it's so corny and such a weak song. in my feelings/coachella - i honestly don't care for a lot of the songs on lust for life but these didn't need to happen. don't call me angel - i'm still pressed about this song. it's such an obnoxious song, i'm just not really a fan of miley at all, and i can barely understand what ariana is saying. i really feel like lana could of done better.

i finally finished flowers in the attic! the last few chapters were really good. now i'll have to start reading the next book in the series and go on from there! i've been needing more things to do while i'm stuck at home and i have a lot of v.c andrews books, i just haven't read them. i'm pretty stoked about it.

it's really crazy to think about how much this is impacting everybody's lives in a multitude of ways. i honestly never thought this virus would become this widespread and serious, now it's directly affecting my life because i have three weeks off of school and it may just end up being the rest of the year unfortunately. i really hope something great can somehow come out of this. much to think about.
